taxes and spyware
hey, quick question. if i have a bunch of evil spyware on my computer would it be a bad idea to do my taxes on the same computer? you know entering lots of personal info to a website?
so far all spyware seems to be doing to my computer is slowing it down like crazy. i dont think my identity is at risk, just my computer speed. but i dont want to PUT it at risk....
and before you say anything YES i have avg and spybot s&d and they dont work. no i cant restart in safemode, and YES i do plan on re-formatting the whole stinkin thing. (and yes i have an extrernal harddrive to keep things safe.)

I wouldn't in your situation. My ultra cautiousness has kept me virus free for many years.

I know it's WAAAAY slower at your parents house, but it'll be WAY safer.
so yeah... uhhhh... would it be safer than my parents house to do it at the library?
I say do it at your parents house if you KNOW that their computer is virus free, or do it the old fashioned way- snail mail (boo!)
