Greetings FLB Fans!
We've already had one team punch their ticket for the Wild World Series; the expansion Bombers who've been blazing their way through the FLB all season find themselves just seven games away from being the first expansion team to win it all.

HR: M. Mercer (BBB/Babirusa/2B; 1), M. Ace (BBB/Spotted Hyena/1B; 1)
Player of the Game: G. Hollinger (BBB/Fox/SP; 10.2 IP, 3 ER 6 K)
Though there was a strong following from the Pioneers in Game 3, taking the lead in the 7th inning, the Bombers ground their way to a complete sweep in Portland. Ironically leading the charge was Graham Hollinger, one of the famed "Arsenal of Freedom" battery of the Pioneers taken in the expansion draft. Though the Pioneers tried to bring it to game 4, extending the game deep into the 13th inning, the Bombers ground out one final run before holding the game off, punching their ticket for the Wild World Series.
Charleston Swamp Foxes (2-1) 2 0 2 0 0 0 0 0 0 4 11 0
Hawaiian Tikis (1-2) 0 1 0 0 0 0 0 0 1 2 4 0
W: R. Mansfield (CHA/Lynx/SP; 1-0) L: K. Renner (HAW/Donkey/SP; 0-1) S: J. Olivares (CHA/Wolf/CL; 2)
HR: M. Baker (HAW/Raven/DH; 1)
Player of the Game: R. Mansfield (8 IP, 1 ER, 7 K)
It was certainly a day showcasing former Pioneers pitching as the Swamp Foxes found themselves benefitting from their shrewd trading as Ryan Mansfield held off the Tikis' attempt at coming back, pushing them to the brink of elimination in next game. It was another game of small ball, with only a single home run leaving the park. With Game 4 coming tomorrow, there are rumors of the aces of each club warming up to bring another close game.

Hmm a lackluster performance for Ty but hopefully he can provide more assistance in the WWS ^^

OP
I would think as long as he gets a ring the Triple Crown winner can take a rest ;P

Well, I mean be productive, not WWS MVP level, but at least a few hits.

Here's hoping the Tikis can take game 4..would love to see Cindy pitch in game 5 with a trip to the WWS on the line.

That would be nice. Really hoping Ty could face off against his old team :)
