Well, as for the question of what gets more comments and faves: Yea, the lewd stuff, as you describe it, is indeed most clicked and maybe only rivaled by the real giants of artists, if they bring out a no-nude/suggestive piece of highest quality every once in a blue moon~ (No example springs to mind and I talk entirely hyperboly about this) but that is really soley based on the fact that... well, hormones are still easier to appeal to than the mind or just the eyes (or ears as with the audio submissions)

However, I am glad ya dun go for mass-appeal but personal appeal, because that's how it should be, IMO~ Not to say that being on good terms with the community isn't important, but hey, this isn't a Miss America contest or Facebook where you "Gotta catch 'em all!" >=( Ya do well enough, from what I see in your gallery and I like what I see~ Nude or not :3

Hehe, well, I get art for myself. I dont get it for others, and if someone like my character and the pictures and would like to see more of it, they watch me I guess? I do love me some lewdness, but I also like some nice casiual stuff!

My theory on the lewd sexness stuff getting more attention: Lewd sexness stuff catches more eyes on the front page. That's a big reason I feel like.

Well, I suppose. People come here for different reasons etc tho! Normal SFW art catch my eye just as much as NSFW really though xD I Just love to look at pictures, seeing how much the artist worked on it by how much detail and stuff its there, not just like some who go like "OMG DICK! OMG BEWBS! FAV!" xD

Yeah¨ Dont get me wrong, I love some pervy fun and stuff, but I think people just...ignore normal SFW art, sadly >.< There are soooo many amazing pieces out there that gets little to no credit cause theres no tits in the picture

Hm, get 'em both, is what I say. I like a mixes of the arts, and it's interesting seeing characters flesh out in a variety of ways. On the subjects of puppies and dogs, I'm suddenly missing mine now XD

All the nude and lewd stuff will definitely always get the most attention over clean pictures but generally I enjoy the casual side of characters just as much and getting clean art feels like it "balances" one's gallery,
xD even that I'm personally doing a terrible job at it when only every 5-8th picture or so turns out SFW.

But it's like if you'd have a crowd of 100 people, the first thing you'd notice overlooking them would be if just few of them would be naked and having sex...
