Books n updates!
SO! Almost a year since my last journal, so I suppose I'll write a new one!
Been nerding out and reading lots of books lately, mainly fantasy stuff! So if you also enjoy books and know of any good series that are worth a read, I would love to hear it~! Though I prefer fantasy/magic stuff.
Some of the books I've read (They all have several books in each series) :
-Throne of Glass series by Sarah J Maas (Super good series, though a bit slow in the start! Can't wait for the last book to come out in autumn!)
-A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas ('s okay)
-The Dresden files by Jim Butcher (A really good series! I really love the world that Jim creates here and as usual, his writing is really good! Waiting for more books from this series! (Oh god, they made a TV show of it and It's horrible. Maybe cause I've read the books.)
-Truthwitch The Witchlands by Susan Dennard (It's got potential! On book two and it seems like there's a lot of stuff that will come together later in the series!)
-A Falling Kingdoms Novel by Morgan Rhodes (On book two, A bit slow but hopefully things will be picking up and stuff. Seems like a good series!)
-Kingkiller Chronicles series by Patrick Rothfuss (A good series with lots of potential and good writing! Looking forward to book 3!)
-Dragon's Gift Series by Linsey Hall (An okay series. Too much romance and love for my taste and it gets quite predictable.)
-Faerie Blood series by Emma L. Adams (An okay series! It's good but a bit too much love/romance for my taste again~)
-It Devours! by Joseph Fink and Jeffrey Cranor (From the Nightvale universe, quite weird and funny. I liked it c: )
-Nevernight by Jay Kristoff (I liked a lot of it, but there was also a lot I didn't like~)
(These aren't fantasy stuff)
-The Greatest Story Ever Told - so far by Lawrence M. Krauss (Quite interesting, but can be difficult to catch everything at first!)
-Billions and Billions by Carl Sagan (A lot of interesting and fun stuff in here! Though some parts are a bit outdated as it was published in 1997)
-The Epigenetics Revolution by Nessa Carey (A really good book! Lots to learn!)
-Astrophysics for People in a Hurry by Neil deGrasse Tyson (As usual, Neil's stuff is great! A lot of mindblowing stuff!)
I've probably forgotten some but oh well!
On another note!
Other than reading books, doing 'life' and stuff like that, I've actually started to write a bit myself! It's a story about Shiro of course, and will be a bit more than the lameass story I wrote earlier!
I'm on page 13 at the moment with 7000 words and stuff is progressing! I will probably spend a long time on this though since I'm slow and a lot of times I'm not really inspired to write. I'm not sure what it will end up as, if it will be a short-story or some kind of book. I think it kinda depends on my own patience.
I have a lot of stuff planned for it though, things that will be integrated into the story with time, so bear with me! c:
I might even post some of it here, but I'm kinda afraid to do so too early since I will probably end up going back and forth a bit to change and edit things as I progress.
Technically I'm still on the 'vomit draft', but I'm kinda trying to write it in full and with as much detail as I can right away! (something Ill probably pay dearly for later!)

I liked it! Im confused as if its a second book though xD The "Elven Winter" book summary mentiond Alfadas coming to Emerelle's aid, sounding like its a book that takes place DURING the first one?

The first book is called: The Elves, the second is called Elven Winter. I am not sure if there are more parts, I haven't found any at least.
