Moar backstory for Shiro
I need somewhere to put it D: I don't know if I will continue further on it or anything, I'm not very good at writing stories and it's so time consuming!

Shiro lot out a long relaxed little sigh, laying on her back in the thick tall grass in the middle of the large field down by the crystal clear lake with her eyes closed, enjoying it as the wind washed up over it, bringing with it the scent of the fresh water lake along with the distant sound of the large waterfall that crashes down into it from the steep mountains above, wanting to just lay there and relax while enjoying the last minutes of sun after her hunt. Though it didn't last quite that long before she heard the voice of her mother calling out after her, making her ears flicker a little before letting out a long sigh, ignoring her the first time before the sun finally disappears behind the mountain peeks. She got up off the ground and brushed off a little before grabbing her bow and quiver of arrows, hanging them over her shoulder before strapping her belt on as well with the large sharp knife on the side as well as a few pouches with misc items.
She reached down, grabbing the three hares she managed to catch before starting to walk up through the grass, getting closer and closer to the noisy village only to be met by her mother standing outside of their large wooden house "There you are..I was expecting you to be back over an hour ago.. Did you get anything?" she asked before Shiro lifted up the three hares in her hand "They don't exactly grow on trees you know.. Its not always as easy to catch them." Shiro said with a little chuckle while walking up the little set of stairs to the house, giving her mother a hug before walking in after her into the house, although she would have no problem being back earlier if she didn't decide to enjoy the last bit of sun.
She handed the hares over to her mother before getting out of the hunting gear, hanging it on a hook up on the wall by the door before walking over to one of the large benches by the table and leans back a little "Need help with dinner..? It smells pretty good." Shiro said, smelling the air a little before her mother replies that Its nearly done anyways.
Shiro looked out the window a bit, looking down at the lake and the long lines that go over the mountains, showing where the water had been earlier "So..Is father back yet..? Seems that everyone is quite concerned about the water.." she muttered quietly, looking out at the lake that had gotten smaller and smaller over the course of just a bit over a month, which obviously made quite a lot of people worry if it will eventually dry out.
Just then, she heard the door swing open before shutting behind them again, hearing her father say that she was back, making Shiro give the tall well built woman that was her father a little smile "Welcome back~ How did it go? Did they say anything about the lake? Have they come up with any solutions to it?" Shiro quickly asked, only to see her father shake her head a little, making her slowly lower her ears before muttering out a quiet "Oh..So..Whats gonna happen?" Shiro asked before getting up, helping her mother carry the large pot over to the table with the thick brow stew filled with little cubes of hare meat while her father explained that if the water level keeps lowering at this rate, there wont even be a lake there after the summer.
Shiro nodded as they sit down by the table, Shiro's sister also coming into the living room from her own room to sit down by the table "So..We should probably move before the winter, right..?" She asked before looking over to her father, watching her shake her head a little "Well..Yes that would be optimal, but you know how dangerous the mountains is before the snow comes..We have few warriors and a lot of elderly people so we would be quite a easy target for wildlings and the minotaurs, but they stay away from the mountains during the winter..I'm afraid we need to take the risk of going during the winter. But enough about that, Lets eat, Im starving!" she said before starting to dig in, filling up the bowls around the table with the thick stew before they all start digging in while Shiro's sister gives her a little elbow to the side with a big smile on her face "Hey, Can I come with you to hunt tomorrow? Its been soooo long now.." she said while shifting her eyes between Shiro and her mother, watching as the mother gives a little shrug and nod, leaving it up to Shiro "Mmmh...Well, If your mother is okay with taking the chores, tending to the crops and such alone tomorrow..Im okay with it.." She says with a little smile as her mother nods approvingly of it, adding a little "I can handle it, I'm not that old.." before starting on the second bowl of food.
After a long night of sleep, Shiro is pushed awake by her little sister, making her groan a little while muttering "Nnnnh...Yeah yeah yeah...Give me a minute.." as she stretches in her bed as her little sister goes down to get ready for the hunt, gearing up before Shiro comes padding through the hallway, rubbing her eyes a little before starting to get ready as well, putting on her usual gear before going outside, splashing some water into her face to wake up properly and starts walking downwards towards the woods on the other side of the large grass field, muttering to her sister "Ugh..Why are you always up so early..Don't you like sleeping in a bit..?" before her sister quickly replies "Oh stop complaining~ You even said it yourself the first day you took me out to hunt with you, The best time to hunt is right after the sunrise~" She said and giggles teasingly, making Shiro roll her eyes and smiles a little "I forgot to add, except for when I want to sleep longer~!".
Shiro's sister was a few years younger than her and her brain was like a sponge, taking in everything that people taught her, which could be a pain at times if you don't watch what comes out of your mouth around her.
After a little walk, just as the sun starts peeking up from behind the mountain sides, they reach the entrance of the woods, giving each other a little smile and nod as they have to be quiet from now on, roaming through the forest for a good hour, taking it slow and stealthy, taking quite some time before they finally spot a large lone deer, taking their time observing it before readying their bows, taking their time to aim before letting the arrow fly, spearing its heart with both arrows, letting the deer quickly die before the two wolves walk up to it, Shiro pulling the arrows out of it while her little sister says a little prayer for the now dead deer, making Shiro smile a little, letting her finish before tying a rope around the deer's legs, letting her little sister take the gear while Shiro lifts the deer up on her back, starting to carry it out of the forest towards the village, taking several breaks on the way and taking turns with carrying the heavy deer until they finally get out of the thick forest, reaching the large field and lays the deer down by the lake, as Shiro sits down in the tall glass, laying down on her back with a little smile on her face as her sister looks confused at her "Why are we stopping..?" She asked before walking over, sitting down beside of Shiro as she answers "Mmmh..I like to take a little break here after the hunts..It helps me think a little.." She says as her little sister lays down in the grass beside her, resting her head ontop of Shiro's arm while whispering "You're nervous about the move as well, huh..?" She asked, making Shiro's smile slowly fade before giving a small nod "A bit..I think it will be a pretty rough journey..Plus the tribe have been here for decades..That we have to actually move is kinda sad..That we will leave behind so much." She said while looking out over the lake and the large mountain towering over it, the two staying quiet for a quite a while before her sister finally says "I'm scared as well..But maybe some day we can return. Maybe we can even find a new and better place.." "I suppose so.. I hope we wont have to travel far away." Shiro says while giving her little sister a little hug, holding her in her arms as the two watch the large lake with the waterfall rumbling behind it for a little while before letting out a small sigh and mutters quietly "Lets get back to the village.." and gets up from the ground, quickly picking the deer up and starts walking upwards towards the village where it looked like some people were already starting to prepare to move, loading up little carts with supplies, cloths, hold relics and other things they might consider precious to them.
The weeks passed by quite quickly, making the weather get colder and colder for every day, rapidly dropping down below freezing point as the village pack together its final things and Shiro's family doing the same thing, wanting to travel light but makes sure to bring the items that are important to them. Early that morning, everyone from the village gathered by the little market place, making sure that everyone leaves together and that no one is left behind as they set out on the long journey to find a new place to live with Shiro's family traveling nearly all the way at the back as they start to walk up the narrow path up the mountains, traveling for many hours with few breaks in between them while the snow gets higher and higher around their legs, traveling day in and day out until the day the fierce blizzard came over them. They could barely see just a few meters in front of them as they huddled together while walking, staying close to one another in attempt to keep warm until a sudden rumbling sound gets heard and as they look up they see a large block of densely packed snow and ice come crashing down the side of the mountain, heading straight for Shiro and her family. Shiro quickly makes her decision, running forward and jumps forward, shoving her sister and mother forward into safety before shes hit by the avalanche, making her quickly start to fall down meter after meter down the large mountain while she suddenly feel her fathers large fluffy arms wrap around her, feeling her fathers warmth press in against her body from behind right before they hit one of the mountain ledges before bouncing down to the next, making Shiro hear those hard thuds and the sounds of bones breaking as her father takes the fall over and over, making her yell out "Dad no!" between her fathers grunts and the sounds of bones breaking on the way down until the hands slowly slide away from around her, the two finally falling down to the bottom of the cliff, laying there motionless as snow quickly starts covering them more and more in a thin layer of snow in addition to all that the block of ice had dragged down with it, lucky enough to have landed a few feet away from the largest blocks of ice that were scattered in pieces around them
After about an hour, Shiro slowly starts moving a bit, finding it quite hard to breathe at first as everything around her was dark. It takes a second before panic suddently comes rushing into her, her foggy mind clearing up enough to realize that she's under quite a bit of snow that had been dragged with the ice block from the mountain side. Her entire body was freezing cold as she fights for air, desperatly digging the snow away from around her as her lungs burned with need of air, soon feeling one of her hands push through to the surface and pulls it back again, taking in a gasping breath of the cool fresh air, breathing a bit before she had to continue digging, getting her entire body closer and closer to the surface until she's finally free. She hadnt even noticed, probly due to the cold and having more important things on her mind, like breathing and where her father was, but as she tried get up on her feet, a jolt of pain rushed from her right leg and through her body, making her fall right down again. It was broken, her leg bending a way it should not be bending. She looked around, it had stopped snowing as heavily as earlier, but her eyes were still trying to get used to her bright surroundings.
She rubbed her eyes, looking around and soon spotting a little cave in the mountain side not far off from where she had landed and decides to start the long crawl over there, dragging herself along the white snow while constantly looking around for her father or atleast a pile of snow, but truth be told..She already knew she would not see her again, not after all those falls and not to mention the cold grave she had just barly escaped from herself. She soon reached the cave enterance, dragging herself along the cold bare stone ground under her layed out on her back, panting heavily as her tears ran down the sides of her face, she just couldnt stop herself from tearing up every time the thought of her family crossed her mind. The cave looked abondond but there had been someone there before judging from the sticks scattered around, especially in the far corner into the little cave. Getting some warmth was her first priority, gathering up most of the sticks and wood laying around and even gets a little campfire going thanks to the flint she carried with her. She tied two of the remaining thick sticks in around her leg, trying to keep the broken leg more or less in place it got warmer and warmer, making her feel more and more pain from all the bruises and wounds that the cold had sedated.
It didnt really take long before she was laying there sprawled out on the hard ground with her cloths now dry as the exaustion starts taking the upper hand as if her whole body had just been waiting for a chance for rest, making her eventually involuntarily drift off to sleep. After only a few hours of rest, her eyes slowly open up, looking towards the cave enterance before her eyes move down to the burned out pile of ashes infront of her as her stomach growls loudly, Not having had any food or water for a good while.
She was freezing, but she had to move! She looked down at her leg for a bit and muttered "This..Will be a long walk.." as she leans in against the cave wall, using it as support as she struggles to get on her feet- No, foot. She jumps over to the enterance of the cave on one leg, looking around a bit to see if she can find any signs of help closeby only to see some smoke in the distance, making her heart do a little jump in her chest. It was quite far, feeling even farther concidering she only had one usable leg, but there were no other way. She started jumping and crawling over towards her destination, not caring how exausted she gets, that wasnt important right now.
After almost 3 hours of making her way though the snow, she finally sees a small cabbin with smoke rising from its chimney and even further in the distance, somthing that looked like a city! She crawls and drags herself the last few meters towards the door, barly managing to give the door a few light punches as she lays there while her vision soon turns dark while she breathes heavily, quite dehydrated and not to mention cold. She couldn't even stay awake for when the door to the
cabin opened up.
A faint beeping sound is the first thing she registers as she fades in and out of conscience, her ears moving slightly around to try to pick up all the different sounds, hearing weak mumbling from a conversation, various static noise from electronics around her, that annoying beeping sound that really started getting on her nerve, It was just way too loud! Her eyes slowly opened half way as she looks around, everything a blur for almost a minute before things started to clear up, getting more and more sharp and refined as her right hand slid upwards, it was so heavy it almost felt as if it were being held down, but she manages to grab the mask over her mouth and nose and tugged it off before reaching over to the machine that the beeping sound were coming from and pulls the cable on it.
She lot out a long relaxed sigh and muttered "Nnnh..Finally.." before starting to look around at her body, her wounds had almost healed and her leg was in a cast, though her eyes dart up as the door to the room suddently shoots open with two human nurses walking in at a fast pace before stopping a bit, looking directly at her "Oh, you're awake!" the one on the left said with the short brown hair as the other walked over closer to the bed "How are you feeling?" the other girl with the black hair asked while scribbling something down on a chart by the bed. Shiro's eyes still looked around the room while muttering "Quite hungry..Where am I? How long have I been out? And how did I get here?" She had so many questions, but couldnt just bombard them right away!
The nurses explained that one of the doctors working at the hospital had found her by her cabin, passed out from hypothermia with internal bleeding and broken bones and that it was just luck that she had gotten Shiro to the hospital as fast as she did. Shiro asked if she could meet the doctor who had found her and was told that they would give her the message.
Hours later after finally getting a proper meal with solid food instead of intravenous feeding, a woman wearing a doctors coat, black pants and some glasses walked in through the door to the room with her hair tied back away from her face and with a cup of coffee in her hand. Shiro quickly sat up alittle in the bed "Uh, Hello..Are you the doctor that saved me?" she asked curiously, wondering how the human had even managed to move her unconscious body.
"Yes, I'm Francessa, How are you doing?" she asked before raising the cup up to her lips, taking a little sip of it "Way better now. Thanks a lot..for everything! There havnt been any..Searches up by the mountains there, have there..?" she asked just to confirm her suspicions, only for Francessa to shake her head "No, were you with anyone else?" she asked as one of her eyebrows quirked up a bit, making Shiro's heart plunge "Yeah, me and my father fell down from the mountain by your cabin. We got seperated and burried in snow so I didnt really keep my hopes that high but I had a shrivel of hope.." she said knowing that she barly survived it herself and that was all thanks to her father putting herself on the line for her. Francessa gave a small nod "I see. I will alert the authorities so we can start a search crew and atleast possibly retreive a body." As much as it hurt to hear it, it was true, the chances of her father actually surviving something that like that was astronomical. They spendt a little while chatting together almost every day until the day Shiro could finally be discharged and was offered by Francessa to actually stay at her house for a while since she had a guest bedroom anyways and Shiro ended up deciding to try staying in the city since she had no idea where she could possibly even find her tribe now, they could be anywhere, but ended up deciding to atleast return to the old village from time to time, they might afterall return one day.
It took a little while for her to adapt to the new lifestyle in the city. Its not like she wasnt familiar with todays technology or anything like that just because her tribe had chosen a lifestyle more appriciative of nature, but it was quite different over all. Though after a while, Shiro helped a young woman start up a bar in the area, more out of good will and boredom than anything else, but was offered a job because of it, one that had some nice benefits and was quite well paid, letting Shiro move out from Francessa's apartment after saving up some money, though Shiro and Francessa had grown to become quite close friends with a lot in common so they keep contact, trying to hang out every week or so if the working hours allow it.
She might still find them one day though~
And I'm glad and not to mention surprised that you actually like it!
It'd be fun to write it as a proper story, though Im soooo slow so it would take forever for me to finish it
