Yeah, they totally nailed the environment, the sound, and the alien's creepy as hell behavior. The constant stress and fear will exhaust you. In a good way.

I haven't had Giger Alien nightmares in a long time, I imagine I will have some new ones :)

And they nailed the sound effects too. That metallic hull plate and the sounds of Bigdark... woo atmosphere!

I've got mix views on the game. I'm more neutral of this game by Creative assembly.

to many games that are just mindless shooters, so i really appreciate that they made finally a correct alien game ^-^.

I've heard they did some cool stuff in the 'background' or the game so that the Alien isn't scripted, like they've had to do before. By the same token, I hate not having things that go *boom* in a game.

Might pick it up for PC, doubt I'll bother with console.

the alien is supposedly a individual ai code with can move around the entire ship as it free feel like and will react to noise and sent you leave so if you drop something with make s a loud noise you will expect ti to come and examine the area.

Awesome ^^ Like the Defender Drone from the old game Iron Helix, roaming around on it's own investigating where you'd gone (like if you access doors, because it's hooked up to the main ship computer). ...Except hella scarier X3

Oh hell Steam glitched and I got it yesterday with my preorder and i've already got near 12 hours on it. Its amazing. Anyone whos a fan of Amnesia will LOVE this game.

I got it yesterday too, I tried playing the Nostromo part first, and the alien just keeps fucking me up in the air ducts.
The atmosphere is pretty dense though, I have to say. They cut themselves a hefty piece off of "Amnesia" with the Alien interaction.

Glad to see colonial marines didn't kill the franchise. Can't wait to get it

I pre-ordered it on Steam. Though I mostly did that for the free Team Fortress 2 items I got for it :p But besides having a Scout dressed up as a xenomorph, I'll try the game out once I get a better computer to support it without lagging.

Bought the deluxe edition and survived across plenty of butthurt people for some preorder shenanigans (Including a butthurt Shit-ntendo nerd fanboy). All I can say is that this game might aswell be the "10\10" Alien franchise game we were all waiting for.

I have it and I'm loving how they made the environment feel claustrophobic, like I feel like I'm going to hit my head one the door frame. Plus the way they built it makes it look very authentic and just like the movie. Loving it.

Once I'm through with Shadows of Mordor, this is my next buy.

My plan is to beat whatever I purchase now, so I don't have a horde of "I'll play these soon!" titles.
