Seriously???

My moving note was removed:
"We regret to inform you that this submission has been removed by site staff due to conflicts with our AUP:
2.9 - Content lacking artistic merit (e.g. text only images, empty documents) is prohibited.
Thank you for using FurAffinity."
You actually took time out of your day, FA staff, to kick me in the shins with this crap? Gee thanks.

I can't even believe they'd.. why..
And yet I have two TTs from months ago that haven't been answered.
Thats right, I fucking said it.
A pile of rocks knows better...
like catching minors who make accounts to look at porn or rapists who become popufurs.
Or catch whomever keeps hacking the code (at this point its fairly obvious its the same person doing it),
Or fix/update the damn site.
Because non of that is a high priority.
And the site hasn't been "hacked" for awhile. DDoS =/= hacking.
Otherwise, I agree with you.
The one that was screencapped and spread all over the internet?
A popufur who the site owner is a fan of was accused of raping a female fur
after a con and she sent the site owner a note asking what to do.
She was told to keep quiet for her own good.
Also, the girl never claimed she was raped and it didn't happen after a con. So yes, I think I'm a little more aware of the note than you are. She was only concerned about other users being manipulated into sex and accusations of rape is something that only law enforcement can take care of (not the admins on a furry porn site).
It also has 0 to do with this situation.
I never said the incident made him popular.
I merely pointed out that he was popular and that this was given as a reason his the accuser
to keep her mouth shut about what happened. Also, she mentioned in the note that several other
female furs had complained about this guys behavior around them creeping them out.
>the girl never claimed she was raped
No, she just hinted at it. She was obviously scared.
>It also has 0 to do with this situation.
Besides, you know -
responsibility.
Did you know the site owner refused to answer any questions put to him about the note?
He banned several users who dared to question him.
Because thats how what a responsible site owner should act, am I right?
I agree, the admins do some stupid things. But you can't expect them to take the place of police. They aren't cops, they can't send someone to jail. If someone is assaulted, they need to report it to police. Not admins on a furry porn site.
I'm not defending him, I'm not a fan of him, but people need to take personal responsibility.
And this still has nothing to do with this journal other than wanting to continue drama from what, four years ago? I think when she wrote that note it was around 2010-2011. Obviously she didn't want you or others taking up the cause considering it was never made public until the hack. I'm sure she doesn't appreciate people constantly bringing it up.
But she chose not to. I don't know her reasons for doing so.
Maybe he threatened her? We just don't know.
One thing I do know is that many rape victims refuse to report being raped.
Yes this a furry porn site, and there isn't much that the owner could have done.
But c'mon. He told her to keep her mouth shut. That is not right.
She obviously was under the impression he could be trusted for whatever reason.
He could have given her the web address to a rape crisis place or something.
Anything would have been better than "Keep your mouth shut". Now we
probably will never know if it actually happened.
I just think it would be best if people stopped focusing on it because I'm sure neither party appreciates it being a shadow over their heads.
What probably happened is that someone, for whatever reason, reported it and whatever mod took a look at the report went 'I can deal with this in no time at all, why let the ticket sit?'[1] and took action.
One thing done to protect a 'moved' announcement is to combine it with some art. Some simply use a quickly modified existing piece while others have fun with it and do things like draw their fursona in the process of moving.
[1] Contrast with a report of an underage user, which would require way more investigation that simply opening a single submission.
Or put it in a fancy font!
Out of ALL the fucking tickets with decent reasons, they STILL follow with the stupid and rather ignorant reports? Good fucking lord, we need to replace everyone managing FA with people who actually CARE about their shit.
Where trolls and dipshits run amok, but simple shit like that gets acted on with almost insulting immediacy.
This site is scornfully regarded as perhaps the worst-run in the furfandom for a good reason and the only reason anyone uses it is because it was one of the first and ergo has the highest population.
If/when the other sites get more of the percentage of numbers, FA will become completely fucking irrelevant, and nobody will miss it. *shrugs*
Really, it could have sat here for a while, on a dead account, and done no one any harm. It is not like it was going to get replicated. It is not like many users would retrieve it after a month.
And I doubt FA's hard drives are going to get filled up by "I have moved" b&w jpg notes.
Shortly before christmas was a FLOOD of newly created accounts that posted HUNDREDS of "userxyz is a cunt" pictures.
So, if Jeremy would have nuked the place with tons of images, I'd have understood a slightly panicked reaction from the admins to shunt it before it triggers a wave of sympathisants.
However, I think a long-time account posting a single (low-data-volume) image to inform it's followers is a totally different story than bot-scripts flooding the site.
It leaves me slightly puzzled in regards to social competence or the lack thereof. Admittedly, I consider the "nazi"-addition of Evil-Art-Nazi's nickname sort-of itchy, but I am a german and thus have a historically itchy issue with the term, as it has a slightly different meaning for me.
Like FLAK, which means "getting a lot of counter-arguments / being attacked" in english, but rather means "getting support / getting cover" in german, although for most of the time FLAK just means "Anti-Aircraft gun" for germans.
Here is the solution.
1. Draw a massive dick or pair of tits. (I vote for a nice pair of tits)
2. Place arrow and text below said item
3. ???????
4. Profit.
Just doodle a cartoon wang on it and it's ok X3 That way it gets more attention anyway! ;D
I will miss your old username by the way.
Everybody should use Inkbunny.
*shrugs* I'm watching both accounts anyway
SO, where are you moving to?
Either a "real" nazi or someono with an agenda, I suppose
