Hmm...well my parents went to three out of four of them. Mom and Dad absolutely loved England and Germany. They were incredibly nice and receptive of tourists and they have beautiful places to visit both historically and culturally. Just generally friendly all around.....the same cannot be said for France. It maybe prejudice of my part but everyone I ever met that has gone to France all agree on two things: 1. they are incredibly rude and snoody people to outsiders and 2. they are INCREDIBLY proud, badly so. Heck, they even ban ketchup in schools to "not mask the French cuisine"...no joke there, I actually looked this up. From what I know from people I've met and my parents, they have absolutely amazingly gorgeous landmarks. Paris alone is a treasure trove of culture. But again, its the dang people, they just ruin the experience for most people. Not saying all of them are like that, but you know stereotypes, they happen for a reason, its because its common unfortunately.

Are there any french women who wear those big sunglassse that cover like, the entire eyehole part of your skull?

Dunno. I never been there, only heard what people had to say that did. I had one colleague at work who lived there two years and she told me NEVER to take a metro in France, especially in the afternoon because they are very much pigs and don't shower or wear deodorant properly, choosing instead to use their awesome (they really are) perfumes and colognes but that doesn't really do much after an entire day. @_@ Again, not trying to be racist or anything like that, I've met French people and the ones I did meet were incredible but that's just what I'm going off on what I hear from people that have gone and or lived there.

Depends on what you want out of your trip.

I'd do a coinflip between France and Germany. Lots of culture and history in both countries. Lots of things to explore. Want to go to the big cities? Plenty of them in Germany and France. Want to head out to the countryside? Plenty of that in both countries, too. Great food in both countries as well. German food is a bit on the heavy side, but it's much better than most people think.

Both countries are also next to a lot of countries. Traveling to Poland from Germany wouldn't be very hard ( insert joke here ), and your money can go pretty far in Poland. You could also go to so many countries on the 'central' mainland.
