Blood Rain
Crimson drops upon my skin,
This rain is like no other.
I tilt my head back to catch these odd raindrops,
And i am filled with a thirst.
I hunger for that which cannot fill me.
I thirst for that which cannot be quenched.
I yearn for warmth that i may never feel.
I hope for nothing as hope only brings pain.
Crimson drops upon my skin,
The blood of millions rain upon me.
And yet i feel excited,
As i see this crimson delight.
It ends my pain,
It warms my chill,
It quenches my thirst,
It fills me up.
I am alone but not alone,
As i have millions of crimson drops falling upon my skin.
Crimson drops upon my skin,
This rain is like no other.
