So here's some incredibly shitty as fuck news.

Men get arrested.
First off I want to say thank you to all my new watchers that have followed me since my move to MN. I like to thank all my watchers individually, but since all the people that have hit that button since my net went out awhile back theres just too many @.@

I guess this is a bit of an update. First the bad news...
So a few days ago my left hand decided to share my gin with my laptop. My laptop must be Mormon cause it didn't recieve that gesture very well.
And by that, I mean its fucking fried. Dead. Muerta. Toast. Totally FUBAR.
Wont even turn on. And here's the kicker; I have been using that same laptop for everything Ive done since I started to become active in this fandom almost exactly 2 years ago. So if my hard drive is fried too... I just lost like every digital piece Ive ever done. Cause no, despite asking my father to let me use the external to back up all of my shit, that never happened.
Fortunately, I have an old ass fucking Compaq from like... 2010 or something. It is my back up. UNFORTUNATELY I don't have Photoshop CS 6 on it, and I dont have my Wacom Intuos tablet drivers on this one. I'll be pirating Photoshop in all honesty. I cant just go out and buy CS6 at the moment. And I think my tablet drivers are on a disk that is either back in Indiana in the tablet box, or trapped in the disk tray of my deceased Dell.
I'm going to try to get shit up and running on this old bugger so I can finish commissions.
Like for the first time in ages Ive had the means, and will to actually draw again, then that happens. Anyone have some babies I can play baseball with?
Now for some good news. I havent started it yet... but I have a job. Like... a serious job of a job. No dis on burger flippers and stuff, but that's not the sorta job you want to say youre going to be doing for the next several years. This one is. I'm going to be an equipment operator at a new plant here in Minnesota. Its got some tough hours but the pay is great, and its going to provide me with some good looking work experience. I will be 4 days on, 4 days off. 12 hour shifts. So I'll likely just drop off the face of the earth for 4 days at a time. But this is something Ive needed in my life. And I plan on using that income to do some traveling. Going to cons and the like to see my friends. Its going to be nice.
So there you have a little life update. Im praying my HD isnt damaged. fingers crossed.

Also, I'm going to say YAY on job! Very awesome, but then I'm going to be an old asshat and say save your money, do one con a year, finish some kind of degree in your off time, pay off debts, get your own pad, then make crazy babies. :)
Who even pays for photoshop? It's so shit expensive it's not even funny.
But congrats for the job! Maybe I could get one too, next year. There's a furcon here in Finland, and it's not far from where I live, but I still can't afford it :'D
About your laptop, you can bring it to life by dousing the mobo with brake cleaner. Use a tooth brush and clean every nook and cranny very well, let it air dry.
Some times Mormons can have a change of heart.
Make sure the mobo is completely out of the chassis, and don't get any brake cleaner on any plastic as it will completely melt/distort and definitely discolor it.
If the power button has it;s own pcb, douse it down as well.

Just plug that bitch in and fire it up, if it doesn't boot, you've gotta go into the CMOS and reassign the boot priority. If you can't get it on your own, I'll drive up there to help. Got a shitbox that needs some miles on a fresh rebuilt motor anyways.
