I’m going to Midwest FurFest 2014! This will be my first convention with a fursuit, so it ought to be extra special! Here are the details:
Days staying:
Arriving Thursday, late afternoon probably.
Leaving Monday, not sure what time.
Staying at:
The main hotel, the Hyatt Regency O’Hare.
How are you traveling?
By car. I hope the weather is nice! We’ll be stopping Wednesday night to stay with friends.
Who are you rooming with?

Who will you be with?
There is a decent crowd from the Kansas City area, but I want to see everybody! That’s the point of a con, right?
Where will you be?
I’ll be prioritizing the fursuiting activities, since those will be new to me. Otherwise, I’ll be wandering around. I like shopping in the Den, checking out the art, even going to panels! I’ve been told I can’t miss “Quitting the Fandom” this year. And, of course the dances!
What is the best way to find you?
Feel free to text or call if you have my number. Otherwise, Twitter. I have notifications turned on and check reasonably frequently.
What do you look like?
You can see a picture of my fursuit on my FA. I don’t generally post pictures of my non-furry self. If we’re trying to find each other, I won’t mind sharing a selfie. If I’m not wearing my fursuit, I’ll probably be carrying a camera.

How old are you?
Yes, my muzzle is grey! I’m 45, but still a kid at heart!
Are you mated/in a relationship?
I just have good friends at the moment.

5’ 11”
Can I talk to you?
Absolutely! Please do! Meeting people, new and old, is why I go to these things! I don’t mind talking in suit, either, at cons.
Can I hug and/or snuggle you?
Sure! I especially like the fuzzy kinds, but all are welcome!

Are you cliquey?
Nope, not at all.
Are you fursuiting?
*squee* Yes! This is my first con where I can say that!
Which suit(s) will you be bringing?
Sketchy, a brown/black/white/grey wolf.
Can I try on your suit?
But, but, I just got it… *curls around it, protectively*
If I see you, how should I get your attention?
Just yell “Sketchy” or “Sketch”.

*hangs head in shame* I don’t even have one. And with this name…
Can we hang out?
Sure!
Where will you be eating?
I don’t know. I’m sure there will be at least one pizza run. And probably a breakfast at the hotel. Normally I like to eat at nice places, but cons are all about the people. I’ll eat wherever the group is going.
Can I come to dinner with you?
Just ask! I like eating with groups!
Can I buy breakfast, lunch, or dinner sometime?
Aww, you don’t have to do that.
Can I ask ya to dance with me during the dances?
You better! Although, *sighs* I’m a terrible dancer. Be prepared to have your paw stepped on!
Can I buy you drinks?
Sure! I’m a well-caffeinated wolf. Coffee, tea, soda. I like beer and most spirits, too!
Do you attend parties?
Sometimes, when people invite me. And sometimes when they don’t. (Sorry, sorry, I misunderstood your tweet that one time. It was nice meeting you all, though!)
May I kidnap you to my room?
You better hurry; I might kidnap you first!

Mostly the fursuiting ones this year. And the dances.
What’s your goal(s) for the con this year?
Meeting people, fursuiting, having a blast! Also, having enough alcohol in the room so that I don’t have to hike to that stupid liquor store in the freezing wind again!
