No, didn't seem to get any ill effects from it. I was down about 4 floors from the spill itself. Thanks for the concern though hun *hugs*

Will the hotel be doing anything for the inconvenience?

No, since the current story is that it was a deliberate act by someone using an introduced chemical they had, it allleviates the hotel of any legal responsibility, so they aren't offering anything. They wouldn't even extend the noon checkout on Sunday more than an hour after no-one was allowed into their rooms till 5am unless you really really really pressed the issue.

I had read the cops thought it was intentional?

This journal was from about 2 hours after the leak was first found. Later on they said they found a broken glass container on the 9th floor of the stairwell with chlorine powder and liquid all over the floor and they are supposedly investigating it as an intentional act. That is supposedly, according to police and fire, what the current story is at least.

What a horrible thing. I'm so disgusted by some of the comments I've seen from the media and others.

Took about an hour, or maybe two. Not too sure, I was already in the Hilton by the time they decided to open up the center. *hugs back*

We had a fire alarm go off near sunrize, while I was at Furpocalypse (I wasn't at FurFright 2012, in which the alarm went off because someone thought a fire extinguisher was a toy. That evacuation was closer to midnight). These sorts of incidents are making me realize that, after I've unpacked, I may want to fill one of my pieces of luggage with an "In case we have to evacuate in the middle of the night," kit. You know, , a long sleeved shirt, long pants, maybe shoes, and maybe my fursuit head. Grab that, my purse, and a jacket (and maybe something to keep a friend warm, and gone! ^!^

I just heard this on the news sunday. If it was intentional, then someone is against Furrys. Take care, be safe, and keep warm. And never get caught with short shorts in the cold, no matter how gay you are. At least take tight girl pants.

Well, I figured it'd be a quick in and out cause someone pulled the fire alarm. Hell, I almost didn't leave my room at all, cause I figured it was someone pulling the alarm, till it was still going after like 10 minutes.

And I had just gotten out of suit too. x.x
