Post con report!

So MFF was great! I'm at the hotel right now and leaving supa early in the morning to hopefully beat a nasty storm, I figured now would be a great time to write a bit about what all went on.
I was able to spend about 90% of the time here with
Dlost who was incredibly awesome and sorely missed when they had to leave a day early, if they weren't here I wouldn't have had nearly as good of a time as I did. I also hung out with
ksharra and her friends in there AMAZING executive suite. We played a ton of Mario Kart 8 and Super Mario Bros WiiU (Which I ended up helping beat the very last level of!) It was surreal being surrounded by such great artists. I recognized a couple people, but I'm so awful with names that I can only really name K'sharra and Strype. It was like being in a room full of movie stars and you're just kind of like, "I don't belong here" XD But everyone was super nice!
I also had the chance to meet
Onu who was super sweet and awesome, just wish we could have hung out more.
I didn't expect to feel sad when this all ended, but I do. I'm going to really miss the people I've met, I just hope I can make it out here next year and see them all again.
Edit: I also meant to talk a little about the Chlorine leak there was in the hotel last night.
I was not in the hotel when this happened. I'm staying in the hotel across the street and was completely safe.
At about 1am on Saturday night someone broke a jar on the 9th floor filled with chlorine. 19 people went to the hospital. They had to evacuate the entire hotel, which I believe was around 3,000 people? (Someone correct me) The convention center next door was opened to allow people a place to take refuge and nearby hotels not only let people in, but also paid for ambulance and medical bills. (Except for Embassy Suites, they did not let anyone in. They were the third closest hotel to the convention and it would have been wonderful if they had opened their doors, but for some reason they refused, it really angered me.) Firefighters said that the chlorine levels in the hotel were so high that it was maxing out their meters. One of K'sharra's friends was in the stairwell where this happened, but quickly held his breath and left the area, other than that all the people I mentioned I met and their friends are all fine.
Considering what all happened I think the emergency responders did a wonderful job and were able to start letting people back in the hotel by 4am. Everyone had late bedtimes, but no one died. I wish all the people in the hospital well, I hope most if not all of them were able to return to the con the next day. Chlorine is a nasty gas, and whoever did this could have killed hundreds of people.
