Yesterday was another milestone day for me... yesterday's the day i went for my first ride in... a B-17!!! I had a blast... it freakin awesome... and noisy. There's only like 17 left flying and of those, only about 4 give rides on a regular basis... as such, an opportunity like this is so rare. if you haven't gone for a ride in one yet, I'd strongly recommend you do, I mean, if you're into such things, and soon too, you never know when it'll no longer be possible to do so. As for me... that's one more thing crossed off my bucket list... which, If you want, I'll go into more detail on tomorrow. Right now though, I want to give special thanks to the members of EAA chapter 193, if it wasn't for them, today wouldn't have been possible... thanks guys! I will elaborate more on my full experience with the plane later. along with pictures.
