[Rant] Furry vs. Brony Discussion

I wanted to discuss this and see what the responses are.. Furry vs. Brony.
For people who make the argument, "it's a dumb little girl's show."
It's not a little girl's show. It's called a family show and we have men and women in the Military that watch MLP:FiM, so are you telling me that the men and women that protect your family and your ignorant ass are all dumb for watching a show?
You're really the type of person I can't stand. You hate something just because you don't like it and you think everyone that likes it is in the same boat.
Maybe you should do some research on something and try to fully understand what you're talking about before trying to hate someone over a tv show they watch. =_=
And yes, I'm a furry & a brony, get over it.
Both fandoms have raised quite a hefty sum of money towards charities for children, both have their extremes. The Good and the Bad
Bronies - 1) the people who enjoy the show and collect some memorabilia, 2) the people who draw, write, or compose music based on the show, 3) the people who are obsessed and go all out and think they are their ponysona, and 4) the people who draw and enjoy NSFW art/stories of their favorite ponies.
Furries - 1) the people who sit by and admire other's works (art, music, stories, etc.) , 2) the people who draw, write, or compose music based on their fursona/ocs and around the fandom, 3) the people that have the skill / money to create/buy a fursuit and wear it to conventions and around their towns, 4) the people who draw/write and enjoy NSFW art/stories of their fursonas/ocs, and 5) the people who buy/make yiffsuits or boobsuits and do adult things in those suits.
So, you tell me what makes a furry any better than a brony and why there's so much hate between the two fandoms...
I personally don't understand why anyone could hate something that means so little in life. If someone likes something, and you don't, why worry about what they like?
If someone's homosexual and you're straight, why hate all homosexuals when 99.9% of homosexuals, if you tell them you're straight will leave you alone. This is why anti-gay people are ignorant.
If someone doesn't like the fact your skin tone is different, what does it matter to them? You're not them and they aren't you. This is why racism is ignorance.
If someone's a furry or a brony, and likes what they like, what does it matter to you if you're not into what they like?
You live your life, and be content with what goes on in your life and not worry about others. It's an un-needed stress and life itself is too short to worry about stupid things like that.

I'm a brony because of the lessons that are learned in every episode, because of the friendship, the love. And also because of the jokes and personalities of the main characters. I see myself almost 100% in Fluttershy and how she sometimes conquer her fears is really a lesson for me personally :)
I'm not a brony anymore because of the other bronies/pegasisters because that I don't feel accepted anymore, but I'm still a brony because of the show and merchandise and that they always can make me happy.
I'm a furry because I really love animals, the suits are always so awesomely made, the furries themselves are all about love and acceptance and they really love people no matter how they look like. I was bullied for a long time when I was young and sometimes even now, but with the furries I feel accepted and even got some awesome friends that I never want to leave
Bronies and furries can be together, can fit together. I even saw some MLP-based fursona's/OC's. It's not something for freaks or little girls or what shit, it's for EVERYONE
