Last semester of college/moving to east coast

Hi peeps! Been awhile since I updated here. Next week I start my last semester of college and once that's complete I'll finally have a BS in Computer Science! It has been a long hard road and I have encountered plenty of hurdles (like stupid thyroid cancer) but I'm so close to the finish line now and nothing can stop me! My super amazingly awesome girlfriend
waywardmutt has been there to help and support me too and I am so glad she has been here for me.
Plans after graduating include moving to the east coast, specifically the New York City area, and full time work to pay down these student loans. My girlfriend's parents live right outside the city so we'll temporarily move in with them until I can get some sort of developer position and she can get a job. Then, of course, we'll move into our own place. So yeah, this is gonna be one stressful year. Gotta juggle passing my final classes while planning a cross country move and applying for jobs, but hey, I've been through worse!
So yeah, if anyone has any advice on a cross-country move I'm listening. I plan on selling my car since I won't need it where I'm going and using that as moving/emergency funds. We probably have about a studio to one bedroom worth of stuff to shift across the country. A lot of furniture will be sold/given away so it's mostly boxes being moved. Either gonna drive a small truck cross-country or try the pods thing.
