I’m hooves. An artist or so. I’m 26 y.o., 192cm/90kg blonde male. Born, raised and living in St.-Petersburg, Russia. Languages spoken: Russian, English.

» What did you get for Christmas? Did you like it?
I got my nephew. He’s 4 years old, and he and his mother were here for 3 weeks. You know, silence is such a wonderful word ^^
As for the gifts, I’ve got 2 glass horse statues. This is exactly the moment, when I think somebody should confine himself with a greeting card or maybe money. That’s because my Schleich horses laugh, looking at all these glass ones :D
By the way, we don’t celebrate Christmas, we celebrate New Year.
» How did you spend first night of a New Year?
I can’t say it was boring… At least I had a nice pair of tits to hug for a few days :3
» Your religion?
Seems to be Pagan. Actually my beliefs are not similiar with mainstream religions, and they are more close to Warhammer 40k setting: thoughts are material, most of beings are psykers (very limited, nothing more than intuition), some of them has real power and potential, the top ones are considered to be gods. Just seems more plausible to me. And no, I don’t care about other religions, unless their adepts really piss me off.
» What type of Pizza do you prefer?
Mmm, I guess mushrooms and meat. Cheese is fine too ^^
» Your favourite film?
… Interstate 60 … I suppose … As for the film that I can watch like forever - A meeting place cannot be changed.

Em… Ok. ecmajor (anatomy, shapes, inks); VeraMundis (shadowing, shapes); Mithril/Bicente (shadowing, light); Demicoeur, Falvie (colors); lost-paw, Atryl (drawing speed), Chris Sawyer, Fisk, Tor (first impression on furry). This is only the top of the list :D
» What kind of music do you listen to?
I’m that kind of a moron, who listens to everything. Patrially true - I’m not a fan of any kind of music, so there are lots of different tracks in my playlist. However, I often listen to epic soundtracks.
» Ever been high?
No. And don’t want to. In fact I don’t smoke, I don’t drink, I don’t want to get high. I can’t say my body is ideal, but I definetely won’t to wreck it with anything like that.
» So are you WiredHooves or Roo?
wh is a nickname. Roo is a name of a character, that is supposed to be my alter-ego in an imaginary world. I’d say Roo is a mix of me IRL with addition of traits that I’d like to have. He’s brave, strong,clever, he has good sence of humour. He is who I want to be. So, once again - my nickname - wh or hooves. Roo is more for a character.

hooves. Or wh. Lowercase, since it’s not a personal name.
» Why horses?
No idea. It’s just that I love their shapes, I love their smell, and they are very social, which is very useful for me. They are just cool :3
» Do you own a horse? Do you ride any horse?
No, I don’t own any horse. However, I’d like to. As for the riding - rarely. Its just that I’ve often was near a horse, not on it. By the way, my gallop is awful. Shame on me.
» What’s your favourite horse breed? Are there any horses you don’t like?
I like Brabant for the shapes; Islandic ponies for windy manes; Russian/Soviet Drafts for a temper and adaptability. And hairy tails too ^_^ . As for dislikes - I don’t like shapes of Arabian horses. Just don’t like that curvy nose and a habit to run with their tail up.
» Do you prefer horses with docked tails?
No. People used to cut tails of drafts, so they won’t interfiere with the harness. But without a tail a horse is so defenseless against this army of flies! Imho 5 minutes to plait the tail isn’t that long.
» How do you think about other species?
Mm, neutral? I used to have a cat, and I can play with dogs… However, horses often can make friends with cats (they have common enemy - mice and rats). I have nothing against any animal, its just that I don’t have that rapture about other species. Including humans. I hate mosquitos and flies, though…
» Meat or vegetarian?
I like meat, I’m an omnivorous species. As for the vegetarians, I have nothing against them, untill they come to my home and start to agitate me. And damn I hate people, who force their kids to become vegetarian from day 1. I’ve seen such kids, and they looked very different and unhealthy. Also I’ve seen a whole generation of kids, who had lack of meat and vitamins in their childhood because of total poverty of russian 90s. No, I won’t switch to vegetarian…
» Do you think killing animals is acceptable?
Oww, I already feel angry comments on this one… Well, that depends. I value any life, no matter animal or plant. But killing is everywhere in nature around us. If lion wants to eat, he kills antelope. If antelope wants to eat, she eats grass (which is killing too). My point is - killing other species is acceptable, when it is necessary. Like for food or self-defence. I don’t like hunters in general, because it’s more about competition, less about survival.
UPD. As for the cattle that being raised and killed for their meat and coats - I think it’s ok - they live their happy life, they eat well, sleep alot, they get medical care. And they die within a second, which is much better than being eaten alive by wolves and die from a pain shock. Which life would YOU prefer to live?
And no, I don’t like people in mink coats. Killing just for the coat is ridiculous.

Lol, that’s a question, worth telling a whole story as an answer… Well, I guess the craziest thing about me is that I’m a pervert, drawing horsey yiff, and thinking of it? The second things is that I hate human smells. Almost all of them. I love horsey smells however. I guess my nose hardware is just broken :)
Also I’m very jealous to anything. Skilled artists, nice bodies, clever ones… At least I’m not envious about salaries people get. That’s good.
Oh, and I want a female 35-40 years old with a good body and liberal views. Just for a test, to see if playing with her will be different from girls of my age (I’m 26). Am I crazy?)

No, I’m a loner. It’s not that I don’t want to have a pair, but I’m the one with a hell-stud temper, and my girl should be patient and self-sufficient enough, so she won’t suffer from my art/work marathons. However, 90% of girls around me want their boyfriend to be with them 24/7, call them every hour and spend all of their evenings in hugs. Which is UNACCEPTABLE CONDITION, UNACCEPTABLE!!! I think they don’t need a boyfriend, they need a nursey. Not to mention that I like myself and girls (and boys) to take care of their bodies, be clean, look nice, smell well, etc, which significally limits the selection field.
Oh yeah, there’s also a tend, that all of my female friends (the ones, I had sex with), soon find their true love and live happily ever after. I’m not sure if this is a curse or a blessing. This is cool, but really I’d prefer a long-time lover, I’m not a fan of one-night girls.

Lol… I do love the first one and ‘innocence’ films, and I like the series. Some of them are really thought-provoking. As for the Major, I remember there was a very suggestive situation of her and a street boy in the series. The boy hesitated. If I was him, I’d say I would like to, but first I’d warn her, that I’m not sure if I could impress her…

Mmm, let me see… Well, since TLK was my first movie to ‘feel weird’, I guess that would be Nala, Kiara and especially Vitani (yep, I think this girl with dark circles around her eyes and a bit starved and stringy body is pretty hot). Maria Magdalena (from this awesome cartoon, and NO, I don’t want to be hanged). Maybe master Tigress (panda). And of course my tauren priest :P

I used to, now I only visit it once per day to check garrison missions.

Definetely would. But, only the way I imagine it, not some adaptation. And yes, if I’m going to be a stallion, that must be a stallion. He must be at least 2 times heavier than human. And no, I don’t want to see any human-sized mice or rats or whatever.

» How long did it take to perfect your art or were you just talented that way?
You can check my older drawings and see if you like them, lol. However, it’s a long story… If we don’t take childish drawings, I started drawing for real about 10 years ago, after joining the community. Before that, I used to work a lot in 3ds max, creating 3d models. That’s why my style is so “heavy” and “epic”. I don’t like it however, I should draw more quick arts.
» How did you know about furry?
That’s very simple. I used to be very asocial kid, an outsider. Both parents worked hard to make ends meet, and my brother spent lots of time in university or with his friends. No girls were willing to communicate with me either. So, I was lonely, and I used my imagination to create friends. And when I got older, and learned about internet and pron, I accidentally found some furry pics. Well, now I’m here. And looks like I’m not alone :3
» Why do you make like one art per month?
Well, I’m not a talented one, and I have to do lots of extra moves and experiments to make my drawings look good. I can say that my last commission took about 33-38 drawing hours. The are lots of artists, who can make such art cooler and quicker, but I’m not one of them. So, I just draw, whether you like it or not. Also I have a main job to work at, and yes, I’m very lazy, and I often want to just rest instead of drawing. Right now I’m working to improve my motivation. Hope patreon will help a lot with that.

Everything is set and ready, however I’m not sure about some goals and rewards. Sure everybody wants to earn more money, but I just want to be fair.

No. At least for a few years. I’d like to get more experience with my main job, create a worth-while portfolio and learn to work in team. I just like having my back covered, if anything goes wrong. But yes, in the future I look forward to become an artist, drawing mostly for furry community. But as for now, I’d like patreon to become some sort of a deal. You know, in past 5 years my world just turned upside down, and now I do things I should do long ago. So, I’m a little late for this race, but I’m a good runner. I know, there are lots of people, who like my art. And I’d be very happy, if they provided a bit of material support for me. Yes, I started doing commissions, but after calculating time spent/money needed, they seem to be very overpriced. So, I hope Patreon will smooth my needs. As for rewards - I don’t draw often, and I don’t draw a lot, but there are some things, that IMHO will be interesting for the people. Streamings, WiPs, timelapses, art ruffle - all this kind of stuff. And commission discounts, of course ;)

Yes, I think about sometimes drawing portraits or small/med arts for top patrons. It’s just about my timing. I’m planning to do at least one every month or so.

I must say I’m not that good with anthro. Should spend more time sketching this year. But I like both. I also like the crotchboobs like ecmajor does. However, every time I tried to draw this way, I failed :P

That was long ago. Seriously, I don’t want to get back to it. It takes damn lots of time and doesn’t look really good. Let’s keep my 3d for my main job.
» Which software do you use for your drawings?
Mostly SAI, sometimes Photoshop, together with Wacom Intuos 4L. By the way, I can’t wait for SAI2. It’s just about my every drawing goes “out of memory” sooner or later… I want more memory and more layer options. And one thing I really miss in SAI is option to a drag copy of current view out of the main window, to my second screen, so timelapses of my drawings will always have 100% zoom and won’t be shaky. Right now they are. Very.
» Some people say that artists often put so much of their soul into their drawings, so when they become famous, they don’t have a soul at all!
Possible. There are not much people to like me, but it already feels like I become more and more ignorant to some things or people. This is partly reasonable - if I gonna talk and answer to anybody, I’ll have no time for drawings. So, I’m sorry if I forgot about you. Artists do such things. I hope you don’t mind it…
Oh, and my hair is not that blonde (actually 50% blonde, 50% red), so I don’t have a soul anyway :P

Never been, want to. There are many people I’d like to meet in person, and there are many things for me to see. But as for doing it… Well, I’m not sure, and mostly it’s a question of money. You know, I could save some money and go to a convent right now. But damn I hate this situation when you’ve been waiting a lot for a journey, and when you’re on a journey, you don’t have meals with others, you don’t buy things, you take a walk instead of bus - trying to save every penny, because you know, that there are only few coins in your pocket. So, I’d like to show my shiny bald spot somewhere, but that’s not going to happen untill I have enough money for a journey + some pocket money. As for the place - Europe is more like it. It’s just that I have my brother living in Germany, and I don’t like long flights :3

Roo woke up. He’s my best mental defensive mechanism - when I feel shitty so much, that I lose any desire to do something, he wakes up and takes control. After that I get that scary smile on my face, and instead of “I’m worthless pony, there are so many people, who are better than me" I start to think "oh sorry, I can’t see you because of that awesome shining I have" or "you’re better than me? You’re gonna suffer!" Anger is much better than despair. And yes, I should visit a doctor, for my subconsciousness is playing its own games. No, I don’t want to :)
» Why did it take so long for you to make this drawing video?
Issues with my gmail. Few years ago I created account and created youtube channel also. However, I forgot about this account for a while. And now, when I tried to recover it, I first couldn’t remember my login, and when I remembered, it appeared that I don’t know the password. All of my passwords match some rules, meaning I can brutforce any of my password within 10 minutes, just following these rules. And I failed with this account, which is weird. Recovery form works, but it requires me to remember, when I created this account, when was the last time I used it, which email is the most popular. And I don’t remember anything but a secret question answer (which is 100% correct). However, google won’t let me recover my account, so fuck that, I have another one, even if it won’t have short URL or other perks…

As for rewards - I don’t draw often, and I don’t draw a lot, but there are some things, that IMHO will be interesting for the people. Streamings, WiPs, timelapses, art ruffle - all this kind of stuff. And commission discounts, of course ;)

Mostly SAI, sometimes Photoshop, together with Wacom Intuos 4L. By the way, I can’t wait for SAI2. It’s just about my every drawing goes “out of memory” sooner or later… I want more memory and more layer options. And one thing I really miss in SAI is option to a drag copy of current view out of the main window, to my second screen, so timelapses of my drawings will always have 100% zoom and won’t be shaky. Right now they are. Very.

Possible. There are not much people to like me, but it already feels like I become more and more ignorant to some things or people. This is partly reasonable - if I gonna talk and answer to anybody, I’ll have no time for drawings. So, I’m sorry if I forgot about you. Artists do such things. I hope you don’t mind it…
Oh, and my hair is not that blonde (actually 50% blonde, 50% red), so I don’t have a soul anyway :P

Never been, want to. There are many people I’d like to meet in person, and there are many things for me to see. But as for doing it… Well, I’m not sure, and mostly it’s a question of money. You know, I could save some money and go to a convent right now. But damn I hate this situation when you’ve been waiting a lot for a journey, and when you’re on a journey, you don’t have meals with others, you don’t buy things, you take a walk instead of bus - trying to save every penny, because you know, that there are only few coins in your pocket. So, I’d like to show my shiny bald spot somewhere, but that’s not going to happen untill I have enough money for a journey + some pocket money. As for the place - Europe is more like it. It’s just that I have my brother living in Germany, and I don’t like long flights :3

Roo woke up. He’s my best mental defensive mechanism - when I feel shitty so much, that I lose any desire to do something, he wakes up and takes control. After that I get that scary smile on my face, and instead of “I’m worthless pony, there are so many people, who are better than me" I start to think "oh sorry, I can’t see you because of that awesome shining I have" or "you’re better than me? You’re gonna suffer!" Anger is much better than despair. And yes, I should visit a doctor, for my subconsciousness is playing its own games. No, I don’t want to :)
» Why did it take so long for you to make this drawing video?
Issues with my gmail. Few years ago I created account and created youtube channel also. However, I forgot about this account for a while. And now, when I tried to recover it, I first couldn’t remember my login, and when I remembered, it appeared that I don’t know the password. All of my passwords match some rules, meaning I can brutforce any of my password within 10 minutes, just following these rules. And I failed with this account, which is weird. Recovery form works, but it requires me to remember, when I created this account, when was the last time I used it, which email is the most popular. And I don’t remember anything but a secret question answer (which is 100% correct). However, google won’t let me recover my account, so fuck that, I have another one, even if it won’t have short URL or other perks…

Actually Jazz, the first link you posted is the quintessential Arabian pure bred look that high-price breeders are looking for. The second one would be less desirable to the "true" Arabian horse fanatic.
Personally, I don't care much for the exaggerated concave head shape. I'm not a huge fan of the Arab breed temperament either. Too "hot" for my tastes. Morgan and Quarterhorse is more my speed (thus the reason for my character's breeding LOL)
So, I have to agree with you JPL -- I'm not a huge fan of the heads of the Arabs, (or the way they carry their tails all high and plumed -- even sometimes flipped right back up and over forward!)
Arabs are super bouncy to ride. Not a very comfortable horse to be honest. My old Morgan was smooth as glass at walk, at trot and at canter. Too bad he was a bit of a psycho LOL, but that was part of his charm.

And I have to agree that Morgans are also on the top of my list. My friend has a Morgan and she's stunning <3
