I've been buying some work lately, and to be honest its not really the most enjoyable thing. I look around and I'm reading these artists FA and I look at their gallery and its lovely, and then I read their journals, and I discover that this wonderful artist is an absolutely horrible person who makes me ashamed that the law protects this person, and worse still, I am of the same species and would never willingly give them money.

So, you artists out there, try and present yourself as a decent human being as you try and sell your wares. If you feel obliged to pour your heart out in your journal that's fine, just make sure that you've got a good heart first.
