Am I obsessive and creepy?

Buzz buzz!
Someone on 8chan mentioned the fact that, because I draw bee stings and nothing else, I look autisticly obsessive. Now before you think this is whining about insults over the internet, it's not. He made some great points about going out of my comfort zone and doing something different to improve my skills as an artist. I'd like to do that. That might help me level out the fact I'm not crazy. But his words still echoes in my mind...
"...The moment your gallery has +150 pictures and ALL of them are about a single fetish, that's like the final nail in the obsessive weirdo coffin."
I'm capable of making fun of myself and my kinks, but I'm also very self-conscience because I have an irrational fear of being hated...
Am I really this obsessive?

So no, you're not creepy or obsessive heh. It's just the kink that you're into, and it's your decision on whatever you wanna draw.
Nope.
No, you are not obsessive. You like something that most people are indifferent to or slightly adverse to.
You are... DUN DUN DUUUUNNNN... DIFFERENT!!!!!!!
Oh the horror!
...
Oh wait. Anyone who has a life. does. not. care. If they don't like it, they will move on and find something they do like.
Why is this idea so foreign? Are we really so white we have to resort to complaining about stuff that a few mouse clicks will make go away? I don't get it at all.
Don't get me wrong. This isn't against the guy on 8-chan. He seemed to handle this well. I mean other stuff you've posted (and the general nature of the internet, let's be honest) seems to hint that this isn't the only time you've been targeted for your "sting" fixation.
Wanting to be a good person and not be "hated" is great. The world would be a better place if everyone were self conscious enough to think that way. Unfortunately, giving into the little crybabies who can't... look away from something they don't like is letting them get away with it, so that they think its okay to attack anyone, even those who can't tolerate their <junk>!
I love free speech, but I'd rather give in to sensitive artists (anyone, really) who can't take the pressure rather than these "children" who go out of their way to attack them. The debate over "what is free speech?" and "who is in the wrong for being oversensitive?" is a story for another day.
You try other stuff because you woke up one day and said, "I want to do this", not because someone on the internet told you to.
