Hee, I use posemaniacs religiously for figure and any kind of practice. :P However I've noticed it's much easier to draw from a 2D picture because depth is already flat; I am struggling with portraying a human body onto the picture plane by sight, and I don't feel comfortable having a friend model for me.

I've tried to go outdoors and draw people but they move way too fast! I need to start with the basics before I can do that. :)

Photos.

I just said that photos have flat depth. They're relatively easy to draw from, as opposed to drawing an object in life by sight. :p It's one of the topics in that book you let me borrow

You don't feel comfortable having a friend pose? How come? :o

I can understand wanting to use live models though, since that can be a struggle. If you'd like, we can get together sometime and I'll help in any way I can ^__^

Ha, idk, I've never asked someone to model before and it could be a big timesink for the other person o.o and what kind of help could you provide? :p
