Late night reflections

So its like almost 3 in the morning, and I'm just laying here in bed. Thinking, about how in less then 2 months I will be moving, away from NC forever, away from the place that has been the bane of my existence for the past few years, struggling to make ends meet in this unforgiving state, and yet, I am strangely sad. I've been here now almost 8 years, and while I can't say I've enjoyed every moment of it, I have had so many firsts here, first date, first love, first job promotion, and even some bad firsts, like first time losing a job, and even first real devastating loss of a loved one. I think back to all the things I've done, all the people I've met, who've come and gone, and there are a few who, I haven't seen in a while, and wonder if I ever will again, and if I don't, I just wanted to let them know how awesome they were to me, and how much I wish them the best in life.
To the first real friend I made when I moved here,
FoxCross whom, I haven't really talked to in a few years, I just want to say how awesome you were to me when I first moved here, from showing me around Rocky Mount, and introducing me to other furs, and to the Triangle Meetup Group. I wish you the best man, and thanks for befriending this silly, Yankee Wusky.
To another fur friend, and my first real relationship,
Dingra thanks for helping me to learn a lot about myself, and for just being overall a sweet guy, I know you've been busy with college the past few years, and I know you'll go places. I wish you all the best, pup.
And the last one, I know I will see again, but to my current friend/mate,
tekhowler you've been there for the past 4 years now, and we've had our moments, I haven't been there as much as I should, and with my work we see each other like 3-4 times a year, but through all that, I do still love ya, I wish I was not moving so far away, I wish I could just pack you with me, but I'm living with family at first, so there will be little to no room. I know I've been distant a lot, both cause of my job, and with all the personal drama in my life, but you've always been there, and understanding. You've matured so much since I met you, I hope I can get my own place, and that I can bring you to live with me ASAP <3
There are others out there that I've met, these are just the ones that I've had the most connection with. I love all my friends so much, and I hope our paths cross again someday. Till that day comes, I wish each and every one of you the best.
