I use a First Generation SP - I think it's the 64gb one (but i've stuck an SD card in to max it to 128.)
I would say as a drawing tablet - it rocks! It's real estate is pretty small compared to most graphics tablets (although, I used to use an A5 Wacom Bamboo which was much smaller) - however if you can get around that you can really push it to get some awesome results. I primarily run Photoshop on the device, and create all my work from scratch there, and it's a breeze. It can also run most other art applications pretty well. I'd say if you're looking for something Cintiq like where you can draw straight onto the device, it's not a bad prospect - plus it's a full laptop to boot.
Probably a bad time but...what kind of model do you use and are surface pros as good as a pen tablet?
