Cheaperthandirt.com sucks

Sooooo....
If any of you have heard of the recent talk of banning M855/SS109 ammo (5.56 'green tip'), I'm sure you are already mad about the ATF contemplating banning a common ammo.
Buuuttttt.....
Cheaperthandirt.com decided to once again show their shady colors and gouge their prices for 5.56.
One 900 round box is $840.
EIGHT HUNDERED AND FORTY DOLLARS
It is usually less than half that.
This is the same website who saw Sandy Hook and the ammo panic as a way to jack Magpul PMAG prices up to $60 (usually about $15)
I've also heard complaints about the quality of some of their gear.
Not to mention after Sandy Hook, they stopped selling firearms for awhile.
I also remember browsing many sites for ammo and mags for my Hi Power and cheaperthandirt had EXPENSIVE shipping for the few items I was getting.
While I usually try to buy from a company for their product (in the knife and gear community, there are some total douches and assholes who make outstanding stuff), I can say that they will not be getting any money from me.
They have showed that they are more worried about money and not about the firearms community.
Their crappy business doesn't deserve the firearms community's support.

Category I: .22 Caliber Projectiles
A .22 caliber projectile that otherwise would be classified as armor piercing ammunition under 18 U.S.C. 921(a)(17)(B) will be considered to be “primarily intended to be used for sporting purposes” under section 921(a)(17)© if the projectile weighs 40 grains or less AND is loaded into a rimfire cartridge.
Category II: All Other Caliber Projectiles
Except as provided in Category I (.22 caliber rimfire), projectiles that otherwise would be classified as armor piercing ammunition will be presumed to be “primarily intended to be used for sporting purposes” under section 921(a)(17)© if the projectile is loaded into a cartridge for which the only handgun that is readily available in the ordinary channels of commercial trade is a single shot handgun. ATF nevertheless retains the discretion to deny any application for a “sporting purposes” exemption if substantial evidence exists that the ammunition is not primarily intended for such purposes.
The term“single shot handgun” means a break-open or bolt action handgun that can accept only a single cartridge manually, and does not accept or use a magazine or other ammunition feeding device. The term does not include a pocket pistol or derringer-type firearm."
The worst part of this all is the wonderful little statement "ATF nevertheless retains the discretion to deny any application for a “sporting purposes” exemption if substantial evidence exists that the ammunition is not primarily intended for such purposes."
So...build a semi-auto handgun that will take .308....and it'll be next. And since there are a multitude of pistol uppers for the AR lower... 5.56, .300 Blackout/Whisper, 6.8 Grendel, or even .22 Magnum will be affected. And since some will label this as "knee jerk", then ask yourself why the legal minds at the ATF wrote this proposal in full blown legalese, then left these two Categories as "generic" as possible.
SPREAD THE WORD.
