pantees I am now missing a good chunk of the tip of my right middle finger
And my finger is just a huge ball of gauze at the moment
So it kinda sucks hahaha.
Anyone that doesn't wanna hear specifics, stop reading here~
I was slicing cheese and I have to hold it different so it will actually stay like, upright and not flop over or catch and just make my life a lot more difficult
Well, I was holding it funny and it still caught and my hand flung forward off the cheese and into the big gap (I had to get literal chunks of cheese) so it dragged my hand into it, and I flicked it off and the part of my finger was just gone, cut right down the side, so I'm missing the 'corner' of that finger, and part of the front bit. My first reaction was to first wrap a paper towel around it, then I grabbed a cloth out of a bleach washing bucket thing and wipe down the slicer before I got anyone. I:
There was no possible way it could have been stitched, so they cauterized it with this big match stick looking thing and wrapped gauze around it which can't come off till Tuesday night. In total, it bled for almost 2 hours straight and 25 minutes of it was after it was cauterized.
Today was good other than that, though? hahaha

I waited for about 25 minutes trying to get it to stop bleeding before I told my boss, I didn't wanna leave early for it and I was really ticked when it didn't, it bled for about 2 hours straight so I had to go and they cauterized it /:

Really glad you ended up getting it fixed and are okay.
