i would like to state that the reason im posting this is because i think it was fairly well writen and i do like to post my openions. i would also like to state this isnt complaining about the fact that everyone seems to hate the furry fandom, more so just my openion on a pet peeve of mine, thanks for listening
ugh..... why? WHY WHY WHY? do people feel this nessisary? menace? HARDLY, ugh -_-, im sorry, i know i shouldnt get angrey about such a little group as XSS stated and even i know the value of evidence apparently the AFC (swear i've heard that abreviation somwhere else... maybe im just thinking of the colonial) doesn't know the meaning of the word. but my biggest problem is something that everyone dose, and its harmless if you don't think much into it, but if you try to spread it as fact then you go to far, i am of course talking about generalizing.... SON OF @)$#% this is a pet peeve of mine, i HATE generalizing with a pation, its use is limited, and people constantly use it for things that its not meant to do.
problem with this (other then generalizing) they're trying to dehumanize us, make us sound more like well, animals (XD) then people. fact of the matter is we are still people, many of us are just as if not more so upstanding citizen then the people who talk about us like we are a "menace" (don't even get me started on that...) *sigh*
when did we become such a menace? when was it that people decided, ACTUALLY decided that stopping people from being/becoming into anthros, is more important then say, i duknow unemployment, horrible education? failing economy? -_-
THATS another thing, they even ask the question gee is it ok to descriminate against us? oh sure, its not like they were born with this right? so if its a choice then its perfectly fine to descriminate, they actually awnser this question: "No, and it's hardly discrimination". WHAT? do they even know what descrimination means? heres discrimination and discriminate

these talk about difference, NOT weather or not that difference was chosen or not -_- HOW STUPID CAN YOU BE! when you say that "it's hardly descrimination" when you dont even know the meaning of the word. ok fine they say hardly so it dosnt mean they say it isnt, but with their logic, they're saying that its ok to discriminate against us because unlike say blacks we were not born this way we chose to be this way... however with this logic you can then justify discrimination against people who are within the Jewish faith because again unlike say blacks they were not born that way they chose that. ofcourse the argument to this is they are taught young so they technically dont have a choice, but seriously? its still a choice to do so.
if you dont like that, the fact remains is they are trying to justify hatred of us because we are different. its not because we are a threat, because we're not. how many anthros do you know who were recruted by other anthros? personaly i dont know any, you know why, because we all chose this not because someone tantalized us with this atraction, no its because we found something arousing and associated it through that, i know a few people who actually got in to the furry fandom through a cartoon by Disney!... -_-
granted ill admit, not all of the things the furry fandom dose i personally agree with, and i would probably say that the majority of the furry fandom is sexual based, though i would like to state that there is no proof behind that, that is an opinion and nothing more, untill they actually state the statistics, this means nothing, because its possible its not true. these are hardly reasons we are a menace! the people behind this site are the same kinds of people who blame video games for their children violent tendencies. instead of looking at their own parenting. and OFTEN these people actually have good kids, however they come to this conclusion through watching other people and never once question the parenting skills -_-
im sorry, like i said i just find this appalling, again my main reason for hatred towards this is generalizing. for the most part generalizing is wrong.
