There were many disappointments. ;)
And btw that "song" from the Lego movie was THE WORST thing I have ever heard in my live!
I'm glad it didn't win, but it's a huge shame, that some crap like this was even nominated and took away the chance for another maybe good song to be nominated.
But I was glad that the song "glory" won that oscar.
And I was also disappointed that Hans Zimmer didn't win the Oscar for the best score, that score from Grand Budapest Hotel is definitely not worth winning an Oscar!

And yes, I also hoped that GotG would win that Oscar for best visual effects, but I was so sure that Interstellar would win this. You already pointed it out right: After Gravity last year, this was just LAME!

I also hoped for more oscars for "The Imitation Game", "Into the Woods" and some other movies.
And "Big Hero 6" as best animated movie?! Only because it's from Disney, 'cause Disney ALWAYS gets the Oscars!
"How to train your Dragon 2" totally deserved it, but they NEVER give the Oscars to Dreamworks-movies.

Well, all in all the decisions by the Academy were okay (better than in the last years), but I still couldn't understand some of them. Like always. :)

But GREAT surprising performance by Lady Gaga, I was totally stunned!

I feel sorry for Hans Zimmer! He composed so many great movie scores over the past 20 years, and yet after The Lion King (yay!) he never won another Oscar, even though he was nominated several times. It's like with Johnny Depp and Robert Downey Jr.: he'd deserve one.

Well, with Big Hero 6, those were my exact same thoughts. "Whoops, looks like DreamWorks still doesn't stand a chance against Disney/Pixar" ^.^

But I think Julianne Moore and that guy who played Stephen Hawking definitely deserved their awards.
And yes, Lady Gaga showed that she has an amazing voice! We don't get to hear that quite often in their "La la la la la, sha sha, fa fa fa" songs XD
