Happy belated birthday, Neo! I had no idea you were a March baby, too. (There seems to be lots of us around here) :)

College is a time eater. I remember only being able to write after I did some hardcore time management to set aside an hour or two every couple of days. It's also very hard to want to write when you are totally burned out from doing so much writing for college.

Keep up the hard work, Neo. Even if there is no NaPoeWriMo I know you will eventually get back to it better and stronger than ever.

I'm also super hoping to see you again at BronyCon. All I need is the invite back and I'm so there.

You might be excited to learn that I am trying to incorporate NaPoWriMo into my capstone project for LGBT Studies through the use of Twine to make an interactive text-based adventure game that explores the ideas of Queer Futures~ Naturally, this is going to be a huge endeavor since I'd have to write a script and everything... I may end up actually doing this in Ruby on Rails so that I could also design a webpage for interaction as well.

BronyCon would be nice~ Last year, I was a little disappointed, but it was all worth it to see you and my boyfriend; it just wasn't the same without my friend Tyler there and hanging out with the SomethingAwful goons (which is ironic at the surface, but they were pretty sweet). I'll try to come back if you are going - and it might be the sole reason. Hell, maybe I could help you with the panel, or even offer some content for it~?

That makes me very happy to hear you are working on a way to keep NaPoeWriMo alive despite all the hard work you need to do for college. Please keep me posted on how it goes and if I can be of any assistance or support. :)

Awesome~ I actually would love to speak on behalf of Understanding with a really short and sweet history of Queer Studies and the ways these ideas can help understand the dynamics going on. I'll also have to watch the show to find some ways I could make it still about MLP.

If you wanted to do some speaking on behalf of LGBT I'd recommend stopping by FiM Fiction and seeing all the different ways in which the characters have been shipped. There are countless stories out there about different members of the Mane 6 being in homosexual relationships.

Perhaps it is the fandom itself is trying to push for MLP to be for LGBT as much as it is working towards advocating Mental and Physical Disabilities?

Every positive movement needs to start somewhere and MLP definitely has gotten a lot of amazing sub groups tapped into it.

That's a possibility~ Though, I wanted to use the idea of Queer theory to relate to the identity politics beyond LGBT and into things like disability~ Though, it would be important to take into ideas of the community itself too. Maybe I can find linkage.

If you can figure a way to link disabilities and ponies I am definitely open for trying to make a reference to it on the ever-developing presentation.

The goal for 2015 is to be as informative as possible while also allowing time for audience Q&A and story sharing. I'd like to purchase small thumb drives (flash drives) to distribute at the panel in which would contain the presentation, support videos, and any additional relevant information to ensure the panel goes miles beyond the 50 minute presentation.

Any thoughts, ideas, concepts, or anything else you would want to contribute is deeply appreciated.
