Welcome New Guild Members! Introduce Yourself Here!

Welcome to The Crafter's Guild!
We are a community dedicated to all of the crafting disciplines of the numerous creative people of FA. Please feel free to tell us a little bit about yourself, what you craft, how long you have been doing it, and anything else you might want to tell us about who you are and what you do as a crafter.
As for me,
Krystal_Aristokats,
I am the new owner of this group and will be the main moderator of this small crafting community until a proper staff of moderators can be formed in the near future. I realized back when I joined the group that there are a lot of cool crafters that are just not well represented in general in the fandom on FA. It can be difficult to find fellow crafters for something specific when few if any formal art tag are available and artists and buyers do not always tag their work with proper keywords. I have been a member of The Crafter's Guild (TCG) since August 2013 shortly after learning that this group existed.
I formally requested to FA staff to take over this group in the summer of 2014 since I have been unable to contact the original group owner
Realtai who left FA months previously. Recently FA staff finally answered my request and thus I gained access as the new group owner. Hurray!
I am a self taught jewelry designer that specializes in handmade bead and wire artwork which includes several different types of natural stones. I have made several types of jewelry ranging from earrings, necklaces and bracelets to custom ID/ conbadge lanyards and key chains. To me jewelry should be crafted and created to be enjoyed by all - men, women, and children. I have been making jewelry as a personal hobby for several years and as a physical business since January 2014. I currently rent space for a physical location in Kentucky - Lunar Moon Jewelry - where I craft and create new pieces of jewelry live most weekends. I plan to restock and reopen my Etsy store soon as well. Ideally, I would also like to learn how to silversmith as well as open my very own stand alone boutique in the future instead of just renting space.
I look forward to meeting everyone in the guild soon. :)
Happy crafting and creating!

Happy crafting and creating!
I've made much of my living, and at times all of my living by my crafting skills since I was in my mid teens.
At the moment, I am mostly back to custom knifemaking.
But I am also an armourer, a tailor, a costumer, an artist, and I have made or continue to make more types of crafts than I can easily remember or list here.
I work in a wide range of materials and mediums, am friendly and approachable, and have a sense of humor that can range from the whimsical to earthy and a just a trifle bent.
There are many pics of my work in my account on FA, though be warned that I do have quite a bit of adult art in the main gallery.
The scraps area contains most of my craft pics. (There are a few pencils of adult material too...Mostly not work safe, so you are warned.)
I try to answer notes and posts as promptly as I can, but please understand that I do get really busy sometimes, and replies can be delayed.

So thank ya again fer havin' me along fer the ride with this group :)
You are most kindly welcome.
In all seriously, it's amazing to meet the lot of you. I'm Sushi, owner of Sushi.suits/Aetherwears on Etsy, but many call me Kaesa. While most of my cstume work involved fur, I love to dabble in other fabrics for cosplay purposes. My speciality seems to be Electronics in costumes, as I really do try to make each of my personal costumes with some sort of electronics in them. Glow definently seems to be my interest!
I look forward to sharing my creations with everyone, and I"m ever more excited to see everyone elses creations as well!
Happy Craftin'!
*restrains my urge to fangirl all over your Programmable Pixel Leopard Led Tails in your Etsy shop now*
Glad to have you as part of this community.
You really made me beam when you said that XD!
It's awesome to have found this group, and I really look forward to talking with everyone :D. Thank you so much for bringing this back ;3;.
I was just doing what I thought was right for the crafting community on FA. ^^
me and
we make almost anything out of fleece mostly hats and tails but we also make a tons more of different things too.
I'm EJ. Amateur sculpture and aspiring toy maker. I'm learning slowly, but learning none the less. I'm still trying to get the nack of silicone pouring and two part molds. In the future I want to try my hand at soft bodied dolls but I think that's a while away yet.
Thanks for having me in your group c:
Before I started this "business" I only sewed cosplays and made sculptures out of fimo and other clay. I also draw but I rarely upload drawings here, I mainly post my collars and the ears and tails.
I am always open for commissions (also custom stuff) and I have my etsy-shop linked under all my collars in my gallery if you're interested, feel free to check it out ;)
But what really inspired me to make the collars and tails I am making since a short time now is that I saw a few shops in america who sewed cute collars for cosplayers and people who are into petplay. I made one for myself because I like cute stuff and for obvious reasons I wanted to have such a cute ribbon collar without paying much for it since I am able to sew stuff myself. And that's how it started. I had a lot of fun making it and my girlfriend and some friends wanted some too, so my gf and I started making more collars and sold them.
And a few weeks ago we thought: Why not make a small shop? So we made a few prototypes and put them on etsy. We only sold three by now but we're planning on uploading more stuff, such as harnesses with ribbons and more ears and tails.
And the best thing that even if we don't sell much, I will have lots of the collars for me and my gf (we both love the stuff we make and keeping it would also be completely fine with us ;))
And what I usually like to draw is humans and still fandom stuff (mainly gay ships tbh). I am not really happy with my art and also I don't have many people who follow/watch me for my art, so I am not really a fan of drawing original characters. But as for the fandom-stuff, I draw a lot of videogame-stuff. I have a deviantart gallery with a bit of my drawings but I don't know if it's okay to post links here, so just ask me if you wanna take a small look :)
I'm Karja. And I dabble in various things because I'm easily bored. General traditional art of various mediums, working with eggs and eggshell, woodburning, resin, some sculpting, and painting on anything I can find. There's a ton of stuff I want to try, from working metal clay to making perfume oils, but such may or may not happen even in the the distant future.
