Congrats on the new car! What kind?

Well, not in the bag yet. I'm leaving myself plenty of outs if anything unsavory is pulled. Tentatively, a 2015 VW Golf GTI Autobahn with performance pack, DCC, bi-xenon lighting, and sensor (driver assist). Basically, the works =)

I'm OK with this, especially after seeing the price (that's a really good value). :)

Yeah, and I managed to squeeze the rock dry in this case too. MSRP is about $34k, invoice about $32k, I got it for $30.8.

Yikes. VW and audis are not super reliable, and 2000 to 3000 dollar repairs usually start to pile up around 100k miles. So new ok, but think about selling it then.

Yep, I'm aware. Will also see as this is a late model from the new Mexico plant. Hopefully, lessons learned have been incorporated into this new plant. Will see. I went in aware of this and 100k is a long ways off. I'll have gotten my money's worth by then =)
