The Best Feral Character
CAVE ANIMALIUM
Lordy knows that there practically trillions of feral characters from animated films and other media around the world! From Australia to Korea to the United States, games and movies repeatedly use feral characters as a means of entertainment or plot device. Some of the most widely recognized and popularly successful seem to be Balto, Simba, Kiba, and of course all of the My Little Pony characters, but there are so many others out there that exist!
Some of our top picks include Moro from Princess Mononoke, Blue from Wolf's Rain, Jake from Rango, Shere Khan from The Jungle Book, Rain from Spirit, Zinogre from Monster Hunter, and Lion from Steven Universe. We think these guys rock!
But what character or characters do YOU feel are the best of all, and why do you admire them so much? They can be obscure or popular, we don't judge. Let us know in the comments below and see if anyone else shares your appreciation!

Mostly because Big Brother's fursona is that typical trope of 'sexy, smart-aleky
badass,' so I have a natural love for that kind of character, and Balto embodies
it so wonderfully. He was my first feral furry love, too, so there's that ~ > U<
The Wolf's Rain characters pile in as a close second as a big hulking mass,
though. Probably. = w= b
Bolt
Kiba from Wolf's rain and Toboe
Tallstar from Warriors
Lion from Steven Universe
there are more but I can't remember them
Ash's Pikachu from the Pokemon series and Red XIII from Final Fantasy 7 get honorable mentions though!
And for your male fun?
KOVU! The hottest MALE-thing on four legs!
Of course, I might be a bit biased as I'm a squirrel lover.
Tod from The Fox and Hound.
The Tod from Plague Dogs (both animation and book)
Vik/Vuk the fox from "The Little Fox", a now quite old Czechoslavkian animation
Swift from David the Gnome
Wulfgar from a little known book called "A Black Fox Running" by Brian Carter.
Ehhhh I could probably go on all day but there just might be a fox trend in here somewhere. *chuckle*
Just to break that trend, I'll also add Shamrock Ferret from "Curious Lives: Adventures from The Ferret Chronicles" by Richard Bach.
Fritti Tailchaser from Tailchaser's Song
