Blender 3D
Hello, everyone! Vuk Tempest here, and I'm here address something. But first, let me tell you to never fall sick and shit, ever!
Then again, I am thinking to myself, how much I wanted to do 3D characters in my life. I mean, think about it. My characters, in 3D, I attempted it, but failed miserably. Sometimes, it was me not being sure how many polygons are needed for a proper character, sometimes, I lacked the proper reference, and most of the time, I did not know what to do, or what am I doing at all.
Even for the adult content I have no idea how to make genitals that actually work believably (Granted that I rarely see CGI porn anyways, and most of what I saw, about HUMANS, was very low-standard)
So I need help for this:
- For example: Where can I find reference images that can help me with Furry characters (Anthro, Human Body with an animal head), or where can I find references I can use to make the head?
- What tutorials are there to use? From the basic anatomy, to genital modelling, all the way to posing the characters. Also, UV-mapping my characters is hard, so I need help with that too.
- Texturing and stuff, ya know the deal, I need something that can help me make furry textures.

I'm not great with blender, but if you have a sketch or reference of your character, you can import the image in the background, and sculpt the model using the reference.
For one, Modeling really is best divided into steps. You should divide up your work into as many parts as possible and focus exclusively on one part at a time before putting it all together. When you see people modeling full characters in one go, they're people who've done modeling for years and really have a grasp on it, but the best practice for starting is to start small and work your way up with individual parts.
Like model just the head, then model just the torso, then model just the foot or the hand or the arm. Model every body part separately, then stitch them all together when you're happy with each component. It's possible to make every body part a separate file entirely then put them all together. Getting a grasp on mesh modeling and all you can do should be the first step.
Once you've mastered mesh modeling. THEN worry about UV mapping and texture painting. But for now, pretend you only have one color of clay and strive to figure out exactly how you want to shape your character. You can always refine it later and there are many modifiers that make it easier.
As for tutorials. Start from the basics. Just learn the basics of what blender can do and only pay attention to those for now. 3D modeling is very easy if you take your time with it, but remember, it can take DAYS to make a decent looking model...or it can take MInutes. Once you know how to make the mesh you desire, the finer details are all up to you.
