I've been busy, good and bad: How about a game tease
update?

Well bad news and, well, more bad but fuck it.
The bad first: The tumor has struck a decisive blow.
I am now unable to walk; Time for a wheelchair.
I retain VERY minimal left arm function.
My timescale/estimate has been reduced severely.
I have "anytime now for any reason" still to a more likely
"I MIGHT make this year's end, anything beyond that's
"pretty fucking unlikely."
So let's see how it goes?

Let's just make a starter character, gear /skill up and
show what all that gibberish means to you as a player.
1)Universal Stats = Freeflow Action.
(ALL active entities; housecat to grand mountainous
dragon, use the same 5 core Stat pools.
Might:Sharp physical force;"strong"/violent muscle
actions.
Endurance:Bulky force and size /"Weighty" actions
Staying Power.
Reflex: Speed, Flexibility,&Rapid/"Agile" actions.
Wits: Precision, Memory, timing and "Skillful" actions.
Will: 'Soul',Determination,, Vitality&Life/"Sheer presence"
actions.
Allowing YOU to play pletty much anything you can
imagine as a character. (Systemwise. Fading Anima has
more structure, even "classes" kinda in Factions if you
want 'em, but still. Lemme preen a lil x3)

We have our stats. Now, our actual dice and how they
work.
In Fading Anima, our "Character Points" are called
Vibrance. "VP", as a link to our core lore theme of a
struggle between Vibrant Colour&Light vs the Withering
dark. ALL THINGS have a vp value, from skills to gear,
etc, letting us customise it all!

We roll 10 sided die, giving us a roll range of 0-9.
In WA,Our baseline "Pure average Person" is actually
ever so slightly below pure average in stats.

surprisingly stout back who woke in The Haven after
hitting her head while fleeing a strange pack of freaky
monochrome wolf monsters.

Everyone gets 15 "freevp" in Starter gear,(It's craaap gear
that needs to be replaced asap is all.) then 10vp to
spend on Skills and other stuff.
Neni decides (Probably correctly) her life expectancy as a
main warrior is one crunch.
She's gonna focus on FieldSkills, sneakily/safely
exploring and gathering/crafting while others kill the
nastiest baddies for her; Then she'll carefully stealth up
and go out and sell them the stuff she's crafted right out
in the field now and again to keep 'em clearing new
spots for her to gather better fancier treasures and
ingredients to spruce up her stock. =P Everyone wins -
especially Neni, she earns extra Risk(the "xp" system in
WA) for being out in the field and vulnerable alongside
the fighters(Anyone a monster targets gets its Risk
award when it dies, no competition/Killsteal shit here,)
on top of her normal gain per transaction!

Pretty classic dragony!
. As long as Neni can provide the gear she'll invest in it
and bring PLENTY of power to it.
Plus she's an absolute TANK.

roll pool to make it happen~
Our first (very silly) "combat" is the result of another PC
badmouthing Neni: He's marked for PvP, so Mira decides
to turn that on and punch him in the face.
This is a Might based/violent action at its purest, so we
bid dice from Mira's Might pool first.

Mira =P), bringing the pool up to 13d total! Defender's
limit caps the bid, "Hmph! so we roll!

Each of Gin's die that is higher than one of Mira's can be

a better result...
Gin's attitude infuriates Mira to no end: She's
DETERMINED to crush him now. CRUSH, she wants it to
HURT.
So,she throws all her weight and determination in beind
it suddenly to catch that cap;

appealing special stuff, like magic weapons and even
PC-Made only special weapon traits~!

Will someone be taking over control of your game after...your time? Would you be happy if we continued going on playing it after as well? Hell for rules/story of the game I'd make Nyx a Goddess of entity that always remains or something heh, never forgetting. Always keeping you around. ^^

Otherwise, it looks like a fun base to start off with, with a lot of room for future development.
