I know what you mean. If only it were that easy to transmit those ideas into physical form.

My list of "TO DO IN THOUSAND FLUFFING YEARS BESIDES COMMISSIONS" stuff:

- random gift art for one person (already a wip)
- a huge art trade
- better ref sheet for Valravn
- ref sheets for two-three more canon characters
- add new events to the lore (my slow writer-self is slow)
- detailed Mechimorph species guide
- two or three pieces of personal art
- more fluffy stuff for you!
- something else I'm sure I forgot to mention here ._.

Ew my head already hurts from listing it all... So yes I can totally sympathize ;-; *sad hugs*

But yeah, I know how you feel. That's precisely how I felt the entire 4 months of my last term. And Now, that I have a month a 2 weeks of vacation, I'm a tad stomp at which art & which idea to prioritize first. It's overwhelming...especially the prospective concept of using my free time to earn via commission rather than random mental/personal works.

You know, and this made me realize I never uploaded this to FA, but I drew a very similar picture to yours a long time ago back for the Pinky story. It was a tie-in with my friend Psychoticsilence's characters Jason & Red from her short-story animation where I pretty much established their canon existence in Pinky and Violet's universe. That Jason and Violet were childhood friends.

Anyway, Red is a little living toy car, and they're tickling his little belly and it's a very similar pose. Maybe having it as reference might be helpful?
