New Gallery, New Journal - New Habits?
Don't know that anyone will actually read this, but hey, it certainly can't hurt. Plus, I did say I'd be making journals on this sucker, so no time like the present to try and get it done, right? So here goes nothing.
First order of business - hi everybody! If somehow you breezed by the front page without reading anything and jumped into this journal for whatever reason you had for that, I'm KVLF (or
KaevielEff), and this would be my newly christened Man-Eaters Anonymous gallery. What I'm hoping to do with this sucker is share the various stuff and things related to my Man-Eaters Anonymous (or M.E.A. for short) project, such as the stories I (or perhaps my mate, as he makes contributions to my work somewhat often), the art either of us commission, background information on the people and settings in this little universe, and various other odds and ends.
As you can see, I've been very busy getting all the art up over the last few days. There are still a few pieces I haven't posted up for a couple of reasons, but they'll get on here in time, and there's more art in the works on several fronts. That's not everything left to post up, though. I've got some written work in the wings to share (may spread that out a little further apart than I did the art, though), and as stated, there'll be plenty of info-y tidbits to share as the urge to share pops up... Honestly, what this journal may be used the most for is to share what exactly I'm working on with the project right now, as well as just goals and to do lists. I'm fairly easy to distract, sidetrack, and I get kind of hesitant on approaching my usual folks that I discuss this project with, so maybe putting out a "This is What I'm Doing, I Will Not be Procrastinating" list may help... I don't know why in the world I might think that, but eh - maybe if I know that other people know about what I need to get done, I'll get it done so I won't get "you slacker" looks from folks.
At any rate, I hope that all you people that stumble across this gallery find something that you enjoy. Feel free to comment with questions, compliments, critiques, or even just random comments or greetings - just whatever they are, keep them courteous and respectful, and I'll do the same in return. Have fun - I know I'll be having a fine time trying to work all this crap out. :3
1. Finish off Race Info for Werewolves.
2. Update old Race Info entries for Tcho-Tchos and Reanimate Ghouls with new section.
3. Figure out if I may have a new layout for all my Race Info crap.
4. Figure out what race I'll be working on for the M.E.A.-verse next (Lovecraftian Ghouls and Deep Ones are in the top running - if anyone who reads this has a preference, let me know!)
5. More work on the primary character profiles (mostly writing out their history info).
6. More work on two newer characters (can't say who - that would be telling.)
7. Find a good timeline maker thing so I can start making a timeline of events in M.E.A.
8. Post the play that started this crazy mess for you people out there.
9. Work on short stories for some of the art in the gallery.
10. Contemplate where the hell I'll get the time, energy and focus to do the first eight items on list and the zillions of things to follow.
11. Have a panic attack.
12. Have mate shake sense into me and tell me to get back to work.
Yeah. That looks like manageable list... Yeah... <.< *Hides under her desk. Gets to item 10 ahead of schedule.*
