Yep, another one of these, and I'm sure most of you are sick of it.
I'm sorta at a roadblock right now, as I'm waiting for a title on the car. Problem is, it still has an active title...from 1983. Not stolen, just not properly transferred to the junkyard like it was supposed to be. It gets better though.
I had the DMV do a search for the last (and original) owner of the car. After getting the info I did some searching and didn't get anywhere. This morning I realized something...I'm related to the original owner. Yes, my great-grandpa on my dad's side was part of the owner's family.
So yeah, I'm scratching my head wondering if this is a coincidence of epic proportions, or if someone has been pulling strings for this to happen.

That's a odd coincidence! So, that car is coming back into the family in a way. Hmm...had your father known about your great grandfather's relation to that family?

Yeah, he's the one that told me about it. I just didn't really realize it until a month after I got the info about the "current owner".
