So the next cod is on its way. And hopefully tryarch can fix what SHG and IW fucked up. We don't have much info on the game yet, but some youtubers with hands on experinec that went to the studios says it has potential. So that being said, and it being tryarch. Theres hope.
Something else that gives me hope is, THERES GOING TO BE A BETA! Holy fuck a cod is actualy having a beta! This is the first beta for a cod in many many years. So this is true hope. Maybe the game will actaly be good. Like BO1 and 2.
Its not going to be centerd on full future tech. No exo suits. You however are augmented with robitic parts. Much like a fake arm or leg for someone that had a amputation. But more advanced. So it will satill be a fast game but not nearly as chaotic. Wont have everyone jumping all over the place like a frog on speed.
Its maps are based on the 3 lane design which is good. And it won't have the amount of verticallity that AW had. Which is also good. And theres no boost jump. there is a thrust jump. Which is designed to eliminate ladders instead of giving rapid movments. So I cant wiat to s ee where this goes.
Now before anyone starts a game war and starts ratning on about battlefield is better then cod or cod is better then battlefield. NO. Just stop. I don't care. There both games. both are just as good. I just prefer cod more.
I like arcade shooters. Theres less i have to worry about. less I have to account for, and less drama and BS. And they can still be competitive.
Reasons why I like cod over Battlefield:
No vehicles. Gets rid of vehicle spam
Bullets go where I aim. Bttlefield has bullet drop. I don't like it. simplae as that.
Rewards for doing well. Cod gives a reward for doing the objective and getting kills. BF doesn't
Story. Personaly i think cod has better stories. Now yes BF has some good stories too. But just look at BFHL.
Better game balence. Give and take. Cod runs of that sistem. Look at BF4. Still working on gun balence. Look at HL. They just balenced a few weapons. But many remain untouched and in desprate need of fine tunning.
Custimization. For me, I like my character to be uniqe. To you that may not matter. Everyone is diffrent.
So yea. Thats my opinion. Once the beta is out. Il have more thoughts.
