Oh god...

Finals are this and next week and I can already feel this rock in my stomach. I don't know why I always get it even when I seem to be doing pretty good in my classes. Like the only class that I need some work on is spanish, and Im always bad at that. I'm just worried about this big visual communications project due Wednesday because my teacher is awesome but I think he grades hard and I just wanna do good. I have no idea what my voice and articulation grade is because she won't put it online. I just am trying to make as many A's as possible and right now I only see myself getting one. It means a lot to me because I am about to be a senior in college and so I just need to do really good. Please have me in your thoughts and prayers this week because I could really use it.
Thanks guys.
Thanks guys.
What's your major?
I know good grades are important, as they should be, be let me share with you a secret. I majored in Chemistry and Biology. My first job out of school that I tried for was a Chemist at an oil refinery. They cared more about did I have a degree than what my grades were. They cared more about, did I understand the concepts of the tests that I was performing than my GPA.
Try not to get too stressed out about school.
When you get that first job out of school, you'll start to build up experience. That experience outside of school will become more important than your grades. I left the oil refinery after working for almost 5 years. I've since had other job offers in that field, and no-one has asked to see my transcript. They see the real world experience I've had, and that'll tell them more about me, than my transcript does.
I've left the Chemist field, and gone back to my family's farm to work. I've got several other part-time jobs as well.
