So yesterday was my first time working for a tv station during a major severe weather event. I've worked smaller events before, but nothing like this. I have to say it is pretty stressful. I'm not even on the weather team and I could feel all the tension. From liveshots that wouldn't work, to mics that went out, there was a lot that happened. That being said, I think we did a really good job for all we had to do. The weather team did great. At 11 pm, as I was about to leave, I watched all them do a talk. They were sweating so much from being in their suit and tie for hours. I think everybody did a real great job though and I'm happy to be part of such a great team.
