If any of you are interested in Splatoon (I know I certainly am!) you should know that there is a free DEMO available in the eShop. HOWEVER, this demo is ONLY playable during just three one-hour periods over the next two days. If you don’t hop on during those time periods, you can’t play.
They are:
May 8: 8-9 PM PST
May 9: 4-5 AM PST & 12-1 PM PST
So if you are interested in the game and would like to try before you buy (who wouldn’t!?), you should go ahead and download the demo from the eShop. I believe it was around 550 MB or so?

I think the download is 1186 MB, actually, so a little more than twice the size you listed. Hopefully I'll be able to play tonight, but if not then I'm SOL because I have work tomorrow. ^^;

Well its because the demo is more of a MultiPlayer trial, since you get to play online with the devs as well. The game it self is more Team Fortress 2 Kiddifed by Nintendo. xD
