Bran Crowsinger - description of my Tauren
10 years ago
Crowsinger is a towering tauren, standing almost a head taller than most of his kind. Dark fur, pitch black as his name suggests, covers his whole muscular body. His body a sign of his neverending training and work. Clearly build for running and carrying heavy equipment. From a young age on he was trained to be a Crowsinger: a scout, messenger and courier.
The muscles of his arms and back are especially defined, having drawn a bow since he was a young boy. His broad shoulders change down his trained chest into a rather slim waist that grows back into a round rear and thick thighs, strong muscles formed by running through the plains of Mulgore. His stomach is not sporting the sixpack that a warrior might, but it is flat and hard. His thighs are strong and his rear especially big, from climbing and running, two round globes of hard muscles.
His long mane is formed into countless dreads, interwoven with feathers, trinkets and charms. His fingers despite being rough from the bowstring are quick and nimble, though countless little scars can be seen on them, where his crows and other birds have pecked and clawed at him. A thin scar runs up his arm, starting from the wrist of his left hand and going in a spiral shape up, all the way to his shoulder. On his other shoulder he sports a branding, a spiral going counterclockwise.
His horns seem to be carved, small runes covering their whole length. On his right side he wears a broad silver loop, fit tight around the ebon horn. His eyes are a pale green, gentle eyes flecked with grey dots. Like so many of his kind he has a pierced nose but silver and not gold. Apart from the ring in his nose he also has several smaller rings pierced through his ears, silver like the rest. Additionally to his many piercings on his head he as well has his nipples pierced, silver barbells going through each of them. He seems to wear rings as well, two on his left hand that are just simple silver without any decoration and on his right hand a silver ring that is fashioned like a crows skull.
He is often seen wearing leather, dark grey and black in color, often decorated with feathers of his crows. While traveling through colder lands he often wears a cloak of fur, deep grey in color. For his private time he often just wears a leather vest with fur trim over bare chest accompanied by a thin leather pants. In battle he represents the Horde, wearing a crimson red armor, thin emailed plates covered in silver studs, mixed with red colored leather and light brown fur.
He always carries a shoulderbag with him, filled with small provisions and his case of ink and paper. On his belt he usually carries several little bags with medicine and others with corn and seeds to feed his birds. Also on his belt he carries his waterskin and a boomerang that can be folded. For traveling he lately has swapped his bow for a long rifle, carrying the gunpowder and bullets in another small bag on his belt while he usually has the rifle strapped to his broad back.
For ceremonies he usually only wears a small loincloth of black linen, decorated with beads and feathers and tribal markings of grey color. For this festive moments he braids silver bells into his hairs. For this occasions he carries his tribal bow, a masterpiece of wrung silver and weirwood, adorned with feathers and bells, communicating with the wind through his arrows
On his travels he is always accompanied by his crows and other birds. His most faithful companions are his crows Skyfall and Skysong. Each of them has a golden eye and a green eye and it is said that when Crowsinger closes one of his own eyes he can see whatever his crows are laying eyes on. Lately he has been very fond of a small exotic bird he has found on Draenor, naming it Pepe. The little rascal seemingly has decided that Crowsingers head is the perfect spot to sit on and since a while accompanies him everywhere he goes.
