I'm with you. The drought in Western Oklahoma is coming to an end. Some of our lakes were at 15%, and are now in the 40% range. So we won't have to worry about water for awhile (hopefully). The last rain we got was over 3". We've had somewhere around 20" in the last few weeks, it's crazy.

It's helped the wheat crop some, and destroyed a bunch too.

I'm currently cleaning water out of the basement. I'm removing a few hundred gallons of water a day, and we've got more rain coming in the next couple of days.

Lake Texoma on the TX/OK border is nearly 20 feet over full pool and the gates are barely open because they are afraid since there is already flooding down river. I think they increased the release today but its not enough and will go over the spillway soon. They are releasing water equal to 40 swimming pools a second but 100 pools a second of water is coming into the lake.

Dang. I hadn't heard about that. I've spent all my time in the basement, and haven't heard any news lately. I was just told a few minutes ago, that we are expected to get another 3-4 inches of rain tomorrow.... and we'll be getting rain all weekend long... lol, didn't seem like that long ago, we were needing rain, and there would be a chance on the forecast, but as we got closer to that chance, it'd move away.
