What a title huh? XD Does it help at all if I told you I had this idea while in the shower? No, it probably makes this journal stranger lol.
Anyway, so yeah, sorry for the delay in the unveiling of car buttholes, not that I'm the first one to have the idea or anything. D) This is an extension of C. I know in your world cars are both born and made, but is their any form of brand protection? 4) What happens to what your cars eat? I know in the vore pics the car is converted to cum and such, but what happens to the stuff that can't be converted? Are the nanos capable of converting elements or do they harvest the elements they can use and recombine it into what is needed? I ask because if the system is not 100% efficient then the "excess" needs to go somewhere, even if is a storage somewhere. Here's my two cents:

I think the best way to handle different brands is to treat them like dog breeders. While cars breed everywhere, there are still places that breed specific traits into their vehicles. If an offspring has a desired trait then its design is copied and put into production. Cars built at factories fill in the market for first time buyers and new areas. It does bring up the question of rivalry between build and born cars. Do mixed breed cars still have a brand badge? If they don't then a built car would be distinguishable from a born car, which could lead to all sorts of rivalries and opinions (god, PETA would be such a pain).
As for the vore, have you considered excess or unnecessary materials being regurgitated like an owl pellet? This would allow for a car to "save" a pellet for latter consumption or to give to their young. A domesticated car could give its pellets to its owner for sale as well. Going back to my example with the suv and super car... the carbon fiber and such would be coughed up after everything is scavenged. While an owner may/ may not approve of the vore (especially if they have to pay for the eaten car ), they wont likely turn down a lump of expensive materials to sell.

p.s. just as an insight into how I think (any why I have so many questions), I believe that the best stories come from worlds with well laid out rules of operation. I understand that its is often just art and how everything works does not need to be fully explained, but an underlying layout of function can affect how characters interact and grow. I often find in my own world building that where a character comes from and what that means often builds most of that character's personality. For example: awhile back I built a world based on the idea of living cars hiding among us, secretly stalking the streets for unwary car thieves and such. While I never figured out a good place for them to come from, I did layout some rules on how they function:
The first was that they could eat anything with the elements they needed to survive, which means that the cars could eat regular cars, people, rocks(if they must), etc.
Second is that the cars are telepathic and can read the thoughts of sentient creatures in physical contact with them (inside, hand on hood, etc) as well as talk to them. This only works in physical contact meaning that the LC (living cars) main form of communication between each other is honks, revs, and so forth.
Third rule is that each car has a fairly large territory in order to keep hidden from humans (too many disappearances leads to too many questions). This means that they operate more like eagles then wolves, as in a large territory solitary predator mentality.
The final rule is that the LCs have a limited shape-shifting ability. this allows them to change what car they imitate as well as have some interior tentacles for... stuff .
When I put all this together, it lead to a story of a LC that hunted in a bad part of town for car jackers. When someone gets in he (they have genders) scans their memories to see if they have any redeeming factors and eats the "bad" ones. Before consumption the interior tentacles relive the pray of valuables that the LC then uses to buy access to junk yards outside of town. If prey is scarce or there is to much heat, the LC goes to a junkyard to hide out and keep fed. (the money hand off is done through a tightly cracked window so the junkyard owner does not know he's an LC).
In summery, a well built world makes it so you don't have to make characters, you just pick someone already living in the world and follow their story.
