Sai pooped out on me today. Last night, my computer required an update so like hey whatever, it was getting late anyways so I made it so it'd update and shut down and then went to bed. When I got home from school today, I turned it on, let it finish updating and I went to open Sai and it just refused to open. Every time I'd click it, it'd show that it was loading to open (y'know the blue little circle by the cursor), and the loading symbol would go away and nothing would happen. So like lol wot. I tried the other versions of Sai that I have (that are crappy and wouldnt keep my pen settings saved) and they worked just fine Im like!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to go deep deep in my email to find the version that someone sent me to redownload it and it still didn't work. At this point, I was so angry oh my god. So I tried to fidget with it and figured out after like an hour and many times restarting my computer that if I right clicked on it and clicked 'troubleshoot compatibility' and set it so it was on recommended settings then it worked. I was happy and then I realized, my pen settings were just gone. I did screenshot some of my settings and had them saved as pictures but half of them were outdated and I didn't have my most recent ones, like my brush that I use for lining. SOOOOOOOOOO excuse me while I experiment with different brushes until I figure out whats right 句_句
