My condolences for you and your family. I kinda remember your situation when resently my grandma went for a surgery in her eyes. She looked all nervous and scared and worried, but it ended up well in the end. Though the way she was before surgery it was as if it was something of life and dead, and that kinda put me nervous too, and that´s when I remember your situation.

What I´m saying is that I can´t imagine how painful it would be if I loose her, just like you did. It´s inevitable, but the feeling still hits you for a while. I hope you can get better from this, now she´s taking it easy on the other side : )

Both of my Grand mother passed away when I was a kid (8 and 12), I would say it was quite painful.
