I wish things had worked out better for him. He's still awesome, but he's just been on a flop-frenzy and seems to be cashing in on the Dragon's Lair nostalgia side of things. :/

I thought he was dead, too. I saw something that said it was his studio or something, but I figured they kept the name.

It might be, though, something to do with a Belushi doing a voice in one of his movies just before dying?

No he aint dead, just his career. Titan AE killed his animation co. gadamn shame too cos he was the last bastion of traditional animated features....tho Anastasia and The Penguin thing were pretty unentertaining :b

It didn't help that the whole industry was shying away from traditional animation to suckle at the teat of CGI productions either :/

Obviously I have a soft spot for Titan A.E., which for whatever reason has started to randomly rerun on HBO lately XD

Don Bluth is the man. Secret of NIMH, All Dogs Go to Heaven, Land Before Time, American Tail, Space Ace, Dragon's Lair I and II...I would love to shake his hand and tell him "Thank you" for the films he's contributed to the world.
