Sofurry has this awesome thing where you can put everything you want uploaded into a zipped folder and it will upload it all in bulk..you then just have to fill in the titles and POOF. instant gallery. Of at least they used to. weasyl MAY already do it..I just dont know about it.

I don't know if Weasyl does, but you could always suggest it to the Weasyl devs!

I just love how now there is a program for those that suffer from the "I'm leaving the site forever because of <insert butthurt but easily resolved reason here>" syndrome. Heaven forbid folks here use ad blockers, like ad block pro.

xD Really for artists it's not about the fact that WE can see them but other people can. So what if i can see a porn pop-up..but my mother? a non-fur client? non-fur friend? in my gallery? I think not.

adblocker is like fabreezing a shitty catbox. The cat box is still shitty and gross...but the fabreeze makes it seem like it isn't there for a while. *shrugs*
I dont mind the 3rd party ads. its the porn ads and the fact that porn ads are only associated with pornsites..
As someone who wants to gain an art job outside of the fandom..I really don't want my work to be associated with..well a porn site.

another problem is that blocking ads on mobile devices often doesn't work correwctly, or at all. so you still have "Hot Grannies" in yer face while fumbling for the scroll bar... while it ain't a problem for many users here, like tidma says, others might mind it.

Meeehhhh. I can deal with shitty admins doing shitty things, thats the general happenings of any community driven website, but having my work be associated with porn-sites is not a logically good thing to do. I also have very personal issues with it, but pushing that aside. I can't risk my future outside the fandom for it. *shrugs* I'm at a point that I feel I'm a decent enough artist that I could get an industry job...so why risk it?

I dont want to leave. FA was where I started. I owe a lot to this community and the fact that I may actually leave puts a hard icky feeling in my stomach. I'm genuinely hoping they will boot the ads for the bland glasses/cars/uselesscrap we wont buy ones because I dont mind them and totally understand why they are there.

Yeah it's a clusterfuck even before, with clean and dirty art and business and social mixed up, but at the same time it's fun chaos if you didn't take it seriously (or have perverts and creeps bug you)... but yeah, people outside would just see sleaze if they pop in.
I've been trying to stay but old fans quit showing up, old friends leave... and yeah ads are kind of pointless for anything other than art or fursuits lol

Is this reallly necessary? I've seen so many exodus's from FA that I'm tired of them. Go if you wish....but for real....haven't we all already made Weasyl and DA accjount? Heck...I came HERE from DA. And I've been on Weasyl and Inkbunny since their inception.

I'm not trying to pick on you in particular, just I'm tired of seeing all the 'screw FA' journals and needed to say something. Kay?

If anything I shared this because it's a really awesome tool that can help find artists who have left FA(or any other site) and find them elsewhere.
It should be shared as I know of artists who left simply because they got more attention elsewhere

If I do leave FA it will only be because of the recent porn advertisements and the admins choice to keep them. I've explained it all on my previous journal. It's not an emotion screaming at the sky "FA SUCKS" because really I don't want to go. It's a business one. *shrugs* I don't care who stay, go or what it's up to the persons choice. If they are okay with porn ads good on them but I can't risk my business..no matter how much I actually want to stay.

The whole thing is ridiculous and size it's been about 4ish days I'm starting to think the porn ads are staying :/ which is really disheartening.
