One year later, in retrospect
So here we stand, a little over a year over my very first post; and.. honestly what a year it has been. All of the new people, places, experiences I've had in one year alone. I look back now and it feels like just weeks ago still. So what have I learned? Writing is hard, but perseverance has taught me that things really do get better over time. I'm able to see this in my own writing as I compare pieces now to then. The one change I'm not pleased with however is how little I write independently outside of picture posts now. There's nothing inherently wrong with it, the people that enjoy it I'm pleased and happy to continue for as much as for myself, but it's still shocking that I would find myself so lacking in inspiration and drive for the very story I created to get me to this point. So if any of you out there are patiently waiting for the return of Tales of Adventure, I wholly intend on revisiting it, I just don't know when.
At any rate I really did want to take this time to really thank and show my respect not just for the people that have been with me from the very beginning and on, but for those that came along during the journey, and those still yet to meet. I love ya folks like family, truly.
So wrapping things up, happy 4th of July for my fellow 'Muricans, and happy birthday to me. A whopping 26 now come Sunday the 5th. Be safe, party hard, and let's rock.
