Anime - First Blog Entry!
I've had it in mind to create an anime blog for a while. I watch so much of the stuff, and I'm generally quite opinionated, so I figure if I share those opinions and share my interest in these anime series, that I have an infinitely better chance of making friends who also watch a lot of anime than if I just sit around and only watch.
It's a bit of a challenge for me, because I don't usually put a lot of my thoughts into words, but I'm fine with a challenge! One of my biggest hurdles might be trying to recall all of the character names, though. I keep them straight but I watch so many that I can't tell you character names to save my life.
Oh, and as an extra note, I generally don't notice things like music or animation quality. It'll mostly just be summaries and cliche warnings and stuff unless something really stands out as being bad. I have... very flexible tastes due to excess free time. I'll generally watch ~15-20 series in a single season. I'll try not to overly flood my Werewolf fans with anime stuff, but I'll definitely be posting a lot at certain times of the year.

Sometimes Japan and America will both launch something in both languages at the same time, like with Space Dandy, but I really feel that you get the most out of anime by watching it in the native language. Because of how anime is created, with storyboards -> Japanese voices -> fine tuning of anime, the English voice overs come at the expense of any capability for fine tuning relating to the flow of the language. This results in an almost constant awkwardness even in the best voice acting as the timing of individual words either gets shifted or forced.
