It was one of those 'Oh Hey! you're here too?' sort of cons. It clashed too much with FWA... so it felt emptier than last year

I know the hotel itself is rather awkward compared to the old one but that was a problem the last two years anyways, heh.

Also hi, haven't heard from you in forevers. VK's kinda gotten lost in the adult world of college-and-live-in-boyfriend. Heh.

Sorry dude, but I didn't make it either. Spent the week being pissed off at my inept company, and finally made the decision to quit. It would have been soooo much more preferable being at the con, but alas - not this year either. I swear though, I'm going next year even if i have to walk...

Well I do plan on being at Wild Nights, though I do not plan on running anything personally. I will sit around and yap, and play if I get the chance, but.... *shrugs* Too tired of everything these days.

I haven't had the opportunity to post. Came back and work has gone hard core. Planning on putting up a late one this weekend.

XD Werewolf went pretty great. I had a group of people that loved my Gming so much we all did an all nighter Sunday night! It was great, i introduced a few new people. I was accussed of drinking "Di hydrogen Monoxide" (Really!?) but overall things went very smoothly. I have no idea what the largest group was but I do know we had 3 games being ran at one point.

Three games at one point huh? That's good! All WotDA or was there a mix of versions? Glad it at least didn't go to total shit hahaha.

Well, not -every- game at TFF was -fully- Tobias' version, Aru. The games I visited were hybrids of Tobias' and Toboe's own. I should know... I ended up with one of Toboe's hybrid roles.

As for my own evaluation of the scenario...

Werewolf seemed to -consistently- be the biggest panel of any of the ones I went to aside from the actual main events.

As said in my other comments, the games seemed to be a bit of a grab bag depending on Toboe's mood at any given point. I didn't get to play all the games, since the convention scheduled panels at -weird- times this year (who schedules a concert at 1:30 AM?! I was totally about to host a game before one of my roommates reminded me about that).

But yeah, as others have said, the con's WOTDA panels went well enough from my viewpoint.

You'll have to tell me more about Toboe's alternate rules and their shortcomings. Via note if you would prefer. He asked me about ~some~ alt stuff, and I tried to explain to him what was feasible and what was idiotic. :P I know that my game is about as good as it could be, but I totally know what it's like to have 'creative' game masters always wanting to try out new stuff that doesn't work. I personally am able to apply a set of personal restrictions to any alternate rules, as well as run down in my head nearly all potential failure points as well as weighing the actual direct value of said alternate rules before even reaching the point of testing them. I can't quite say the same about Toboe or my local friend who tries to do the same.

Concert at 1:30 sounds really weird, yeah. Lots of people want to run their own things but there's a point where the convention needs to step in and balance the amount of events based on what they want the convention to have overall, and what is actually needed. Having 6 things going on at once might be decent from a standpoint of making use of panel space but it's really rough on the attendees, especially if the type of panels might overlap (like say a writing panel alongside a panel about marketing or publishing or something)... *shrugs* :)

Glad it still managed to be well attended. I know that the first two days were limited to supposedly one room and it wasn't until Saturday that the place we had last year was opened up. :P Some numbers would still be nice but I appreciate getting some more solid feedback.
