As some of the readers..reading this will know i have two ferrets. Older age but healthy and i've had them since i was 14. Rather, one of them since 14, the other when i turned 15 a few months/a year later.

Sadly. I told the older one, Charlie to the vet. And received rather bad news. He has congestive heart failure, and at most..Has 6 months left of his silly, ferrety life.

I am deeply saddened by this, crying and talking to my mother about what to do when he passes. To which is just hurting even more about this. My ferrets have been with me there to help me out, make me laugh and to console me when i was feeling down, just by letting me pet them and giving me licks or being silly.

I remember this one time that when getting charlie food, i put him on top of the cage, to which he thought that my afro was a good landing spot and just jumped/flopped onto my head. To my surprise; though i laughed quite a bit about it. And this was roughly a few days after getting him from petco. I have many fond memories about him and will continue to try to make his last days/months the best i can...Any support will be appreciated...
